Radio & TV Shows – Photos
Looking back at these pictures we realise just how much we got around that year (2014). Newly arrived and eager to spread the word, we visited countless of Radio Shows and TV Programmes to make ourselves known in a new country. Having previously struggled to get good airtime in our own home country of Austria which is notorious for neglecting its local music scene, we were surprised by the warm welcome and support of local British radio stations.
We visited a good handful of BBC stations, some of which have huge audiences, and performed for thousands of ears all over the UK. We are very thankful for all these opportunities of bringing our music to the British audience. While all the presenters have been super supportive, Billy Butler from BBC Radio Merseyside went the extra mile and had us on every single week for a long time. It’s happened countless times that we’ve bumped into folks on the streets of Liverpool that have first heard of us on their favourite Billy Butler Saturday morning show. It really helped us make a name in Liverpool, something we’re still very grateful for. To listen to some of these shows, we put together a list with all the audio clips here.

And I’ve enjoyed listening…. I too am grateful in that the UK Radio landscape have been welcoming to you both… Not easy to have transplanted from one place… Start fresh and tackle making yourself a presence… But successfully you have done so and will continue…. Hopefully more radio stns in Canada/USA and abroad will tune in and offer up the opportunity and privelege to interview you and let you do a few songs live and enjoy the conversation….. I have been most impressed with the BBC and independent UK Radio Stns to which you approached and happily gave you airtime… Kudos and Groovy To Them All…Luv these pix…. Fun times on air and off with BTS pix!!!!
Those were some great radio interviews from 2014, and to be able to put a visual picture to those interviews and moments here is awesome. Really enjoyed those Billy Butler series of interviews as well as many songs like Help, Here Comes the Sun etc you were able to play on his show. Mike Sweeney and Becky Wants interviews were great too. Your bright cheery smiles in every photo just lifts the spirits as always, and just wanted to note also the way you both carried yourselves in those interviews were impressive like pros. I’ve heard many interviews with other famous bands, and some of those were very amateurish, but you guys were naturals at it right from the start. I can see why Billy loved having you appear regularly on his shows. Thanks for sharing these pictures.
