  The Late Late Beatles Show 25/05/2019

  Don’t know if anyone else has had a chance to listen to Mona and Lisa on The Late Late Beatles Show from 25/05/2019. The program is worth a listen. They were given the option of choosing a Beatles’ song to be played and, fortunately for me they both picked all time favourites of mine.

  Mona’s choice was “You’re Going To Lose That Girl” and Lisa chose “And Your Bird Can Sing”, the track I played the most when I first purchased the album “Revolver”. Just like Lisa, I too love the guitar work on this song. I still continue to wonder when we are going to get a MLT cover of this Beatles’ classic!

  Ian Kennedy presents a weekly hour long show dedicated to the Fab Four, and in this program, Lisa and Mona are featured around the 24 minute mark.

  Yeah Howard, I’d love to see Lisa smoke her Gretsch on that song.  Those riffs on “And Your Bird Can Sing” are just waiting to be devoured by Mona and Lisa.
