ORF Concert – Radio Wien Kulturhaus – Photos

Next weekend, on the 29th of September,  it will be six years that we performed at the ‘Radio Kulturhaus’ (National Radio & TV Event Center) in Vienna for a live broadcasted concert on station ‘Radio Wien’ (Vienna).
About 200 000 people tuned in and it had been our most significant radio appearance up to that point.

By then we had about a year and a half of extensive live playing experience under our belt, but the idea of that many people tuning in live was still a little unnerving! 😉

If you want to listen to the whole 55-minute show you can head over to this post in the Radio Interview Archive. Just be aware – our song announcements and talking is all in German.

Here, in the Photo Archive, we want to share with you the photos taken at that show. On the drums you can see Philipp Wolf, on the bass there is Michael “Moz” Mozeth, and Julia Schaffer joined us on backing vocals and percussion. All photos were taken by Thomas Fuchs, who sometimes helped us with photos and filming back then.

  1. Nice pictures. Would have been so awesome to have been there to see you perform. I agree with Angelo, you were a good team with Philipp, Michael and Julia. But, you are a good team with anyone! I really loved seeing you with Paul and James. You make it look so easy, but I know how hard it is. Just love you when you play, whether it’s just you two, or with Steve Harley, John Sebastian or your own band. You ROCK and you’re GROOVY!! ? ?❤

  2. It’s nice to see these pictures of this year 2013. Especially with Philipp Wolf and Michael Mozeth. You formed a good team back then.

  3. Fab photos and stellar concert listening to it…. You certainly can work the audience there and all around the world… That’s some Groovy MLTBuzzing Power emanating!!

  4. Looking at these pictures and listening to the Radio Wien live performance felt almost like being there; enjoyed it so much. What beautiful singing in “Why Georgia” (at 28:30)! Your singing vocals are truly beautiful with so much diversity and depth. As female singers, you both can easily hold your own with the best of them like Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell etc…. From “Wont you listen now”, “I dont know birds that well”, “catch the wind”, “why Georgia”, “all about falling in love”, “the wide, wide land” to “June”, they all had a wonderful acoustic sound, that was just fantastic. The big finish with Johnny B Goode, and Revolution was great. Remarkable and superb performance. Loved it all. 🙂 🙂
