    Hello Ladies,

Surprised this one hasnt been asked, but glad i get to.
During your Residency at the Cavern Club i would see many signatures in the wall behind you during live clips of your many shows. My question or questions are, did you all get to sign the wall at the end of your residency? If so is there a picture that you would be willing to share with us? Are there any particular requirements to being able to sign the wall?
I find it very fasinating all the Fantastic names that are up there. I think i saw somewhere that there are 2 stages. Did you all get to play on both of them? And what are the differences?
Hope i didnt take up to much time or space, and thank you for any answers you can give.

All the best to each of you, and special thoughts for all of you:(

    Hi Rick,

We haven’t signed the colourful wall behind the front stage but our signatures are somewhere in the dressing room 🙂 Nearly every inch of space has got someone’s name on it as thousands of bands have now played that Club.

The stage background aren’t really signatures but they are more painted on and a replica of the original backdrop from the 60’s. It’s mainly the names of the big acts from the 60s that have performed there when it all started:

And you’re right, there are two stages/rooms. One is the smaller but iconic stage, like the one you’ve seen in all the old recordings. The sweaty, crowded room everyone associates with the Cavern 🙂

Then they also have a bigger, more modern room in the back – the “Live Lounge”. It’s got a more convenient set up in terms of backstage area, bar etc. that they normally use when they book bigger one-off acts or private parties. It hasn’t got the rough Club atmosphere of the front room, where we used to play most of the time (with the occasional “Live Lounge” show thrown in). If you want to, you can look up their different rooms on their website: https://www.cavernclub.com

    Hope you’re doing great!

Lisa, thank you so much for your wonderful answer. I had no idea that the wall has painted on names. You all should be included as iconic as your sound is and authentic covers. Also your original songs as as 60s as any of the artists on the wall.
Thanks so much for the links. I fully intend to watch them after i finish work today.
I am doing well. Thanks for asking. Very sweet of you. ❤

    Tell everyone hello for me.
    Rick
