• I want a Lego guitar

It looks like there is a growing Lego guitar market. Could an MLT Duo session with Lego Gretsch and Rickenbacker electric guitars be a reality one day? I believe Mona and Lisa said they use to play with Lego when they were little. 🙂

LEGO TO LAUNCH FENDER STRATOCASTER BRICK SET BASED ON FAN DESIGN

    https://guitar.com/news/gear-news/lego-stratocaster-brick-set/

LEGO are set to launch a Fender Stratocaster brick set based on an entry to the LEGO Ideas “Music To Our Ears” design contest.

The brick set was conjured up by LEGO Ideas user TOMOELL, who based it on the dream guitar of their teenage years. The design presents the Stratocaster in a multitude of colours, including black, white, yellow, red and blue. In another image, the Strat also gets some amplification via a LEGO Fender combo amp – complete with foot switch.

    A Lego Bass Guitar.

If Lego get into pianos next, perhaps an affordable full size Lego Grand Piano could be in the future for me! 🙂

Cool. I haven’t watched the clips yet but I assume the bricks are glued together?.

I can’t imagine them holding together once the strings get tensioned otherwise.

And I wonder how they join the neck to the body. Will have a closer look after work.

In that first video the guy says he did not use any glue, but it looks like the fret board is bolted onto a solid body piece where the strings attach to. Otherwise I can’t see the strings staying in tune.
