Thanks to all, enjoying everyone’s input.

I agree with the sentiment about taking a song like “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” and shortening it for radio play convenience would be sacrilege!

Those 60s albums by the Beatles packed with 2 to 3:30 minutes long songs with the odd longer song here and there seemed like perfection.
