    Jacki,

you’re on the wright track from the start ” So it’s taking the city transit bus or LRT or walking for me unless I get a ride from friends and family… Lol” with whise guys like you wewon’t have all the problems we are facing.

    Howard,

definitly you must purchase  “an electric push e-bike “. I’ve got one and its fantastic. I know your a motor bike rider. I’m to, you kno that but it’s a a completely different pleasure riding an e-bike, here is a list of 10 good reason to buy you one: https://www.electricbike.com/hedonist/

    And congratulations on acquiring your headphone. You’re quite right it’s also when you have neighbors to listen to music and with bluetooth, what a luxury. In fact, I discovered this recently. Because if I have indeed, a home theater, I use it to watch Star Wars .. but shame on me, I listened to the MLTs on my lap top (because of youtube) and I did not hear what for example can speak Tomàs (“As a bass player it’s always humbling to see a player nail the subtleties, it’s what I love the most, especially that little flair towards the end of the song. where to complete my collection of goodies MLTs I bought a good helmet (made in Austria bitte!);

    AKG
and then, it was as if a myopic put on his glasses. The ears open and we discover a musical universe unsuspected until then.

By the way, it’s not my home theater (mine is more modest). It’s just an example of a good way to listen to artists when we do not have the chance to see them live on stage. The little Scottish terrier is also there to hide the notice board of the show room and… to please Mona.

I understand you very well Jung. In fact, a few years ago, I was really close to buying this:

    FORD-MUSTANG-1968

Although I spend 95% of my time cycling…
I just wanted to raise the ecological debate for other readers.

    Hi Jung, hi Jacki,
It’s a beautiful poem that you made us there. You could set it to music and make it a good song. It kind of reminds me of Sheryl Crow’s “Like Steve Mcqueen”. Now I would like to say that I am a true fan of Steve McQueen but in this century of global warming it might be time to stop glorifying the car and the aimless cruising . Do not take it badly, or as a personal attack but on a public forum we have responsibilities. Besides listening to music while driving when a V8 runs under the hood is not ideal for the quality of listening.
    I really prefer this

Indeed it is a mix of the Line 6 Variax (modeling guitar) and the Steinberger (traveler guitar). Interesting. Not my kind of thing but for composers on the move, why not. If McCartney had not had a guitar on hand after waking up and having rehearsed “Yesterday”, we might not have been able to enjoy his beautiful song. It seems, in John Lennon’s opinion in 1971, that it’s the only thing McCartney really did. “The only thing you did; Yesterday” How Do You Sleep? (John Lennon song) Einstein said something like, “you always have to have a notebook at your fingertips, because the day you get an idea, you must not forget it because you do not have many ideas in the life”. In this vein, yes the Jammy can be an option.
    Well, I’m kidding!

All wright Jacki, now I get it. You said: ” I thought that was cool and interesting….” Your quite wright about traveler guitars. It’s useful.

For me, this is the real thing for traveler guitar.

    “Revolutionary Steinberger Design

There was nothing like Ned Steinberger’s guitars and basses when they were first introduced in 1979. Today, with their lightweight and headless design, Steinberger guitars are still bold, modern instruments that offer players both a smooth tonal response and rock solid intonation at any position on the neck while giving soloists a more pronounced single note attack not available from typical guitar designs.”

I had one of those always on my  side for 15 years when traveling around Europe. Mine was all black as the original but here is a picture with the Black and white color especially for Mona.

I’m sorry Jung but I do know nothing about e-guitars. Though I found that:

The Beatles : Rock Band (kind of guitar Hero game)

Hello Jung, “a big question”? That’s not even a question for me. I love to much the real things. I’m a man of the 20th century. The great fun with this guitar, in addition to the pleasure of hunting and collecting, is the great satisfaction to play along with our Fab Four “knocking on heaven’s door”, “Mr. Tambourine Man” with the exact same instrument that they used, taking part in their musical journey.

Well, hum..  I must add that after reading the user manual (because with electronic toys, you should always read the manual), this electronic guitar makes a much better effects to me. Without being able to really make the sound of the various instruments that it claims to model, it remains a very beautiful tool to explore the realm of the possible. Alternate tunings memorized with instant access, exotic instruments, 12 strings, resonator-guitars. In short, it’s indeed a nice Christmas gift for a guitar enthusiast who does not have 10 instruments in his studio …

Well, I do not know how much David Evans was paid to promote this guitar but I understand why you have not used it for 12 years. That said it’s fun to change from a 6-strings guitar to a 12-string guitar to a bandjo to a sitar etc, etc … just by turning a wheel. The Edge, with all due respect, is notorious for its interest in playing with electronic effects rather than the guitar itself. In any case, thanks to you MLTs, this Variax 700 is now a beautiful piece of my collection and will even allow me to follow, at little cost, the footsteps of our guitar-hero, George Harrison in his introduction to oriental music. .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t79aI-I6ucA

    Hello Lisa,

I took a long time to understand that this is actually the shadow of the microphone (and not a angry pac-man).. The fact is that as this guitar is not varnished with polyurethane (Gloss) but finished with a satin of 20% nitro cellulose and So less resistant to liquids, I really thought there had been discoloration. I was sad for you (for you and your guitar) and I tried to ask the question in a humorous way. The answer made me laugh, but I remained perplexed until I saw the original photo where we can see that it is a shadow. “Shade” on me …

Hello Howard, when the dogs will be quite familiar with you, you will be able to make them discover the joys of the bike.

    Howard

I’m kidding but reading the post, I wanted to thank you for your cooperation. I canceled the purchase since you could see it, I was wrong model. All these worries for nothing. I am really sorry.
