Don’t forget the first corollary to Murphy’s law:

    Murphy was an optimist.

I agree with David, Bus Stop was the video that turned me on to the Twins! So funny and cute and yet so skilled! It’s why I’m here now!

I love to sing but I don’t usually sing with the twins because I don’t want to ruin the song!

Howard I too turned 64 five years ago! (in July) So I’m still older than you! I have to admit that when I watch and listen to Mona and Lisa I feel both much younger and much older! Oh to be 40 years younger!

All great choices, I agree about Karen Carpenter, so sad she left us so soon. Two more voices are Norah Jones (the most soothing voice around) and Alison Krauss who is mostly known as a bluegrass artist but has the most beautiful voice,

Howard I’ve seen The Kids are Alright and loved it. I used to have the CD of the soundtrack. Lots of good Who songs. Best scene was when Moonie blew up his drums on the Smothers Brothers show. It was a BIG boom!

My favorite scene in Mr. Hollands Opus is the “play the sunset” scene. Look it up on youtube.

It’s lyrics from a Paul Simon song although for the life of me I can’t remember which album or even the title of the song! Maybe Lynn can help me!

Welcome to the club Paul. I’m from Wisconsin USA which is almost Canada by the kinds of weather we have! I was in Vancouver back in the late 70s for my sisters wedding and I remember what a beautiful setting it’s in! Mountains on the one side and the ocean on the other! You’re going to love it here in th club for a long time!

Welcome Lynn. It’s nice to see a fellow Midwesterner here! I’m from Wisconsin and have traveled through Nebraska many times in the past. Our family used to stay at the Cliff Motor Lodge in Lincoln on our way to see my grandparents in California. I too am a big fan of Sina. Would love to see a collaboration with her and the twins. Hope you enjoy your stay at the MLT club!

I agree with you Joseph about Sina! I’ve been following her for about 3 years now. She’s my second favorite Youtuber (after MLT of course!) She has mad skills on the drums.
