But the twins are at a whole nother level! They don’t just cover songs they make them uniquely there own while staying faithful to the original! so I would choose their covers to almost every original! (as it says in a famous meme Prove me wrong!)

How about some Bob Segar like Get out of Denver or Old Time Rock and Roll. I know our wish list for covers is way too big for them to even think about but we can dream. Can’t wait to hear their new music!

Happy birthday to Maddie! Nice to have a new fan joining us!

I too am an every day listener! In my car and at home on the Youtube. I can’t get enough! I also visit the site every day to see how all the other fans are doing and to interact with the twins! best club ever!

I agree with Jung, Your joy and love comes through in all you do! You are a ray of sunshine in these gloomy times!

The lead guitars on My Generation, For What it’s Worth, and Revolution, really stand out for me! Lisa is turning into a real dynamo on the guitar! And Mona’s work on You Can’t Do That is so much fun to listen to! There are no clunkers on the Live CD!

In 1967 I was 16 years old and had just gotten my drivers license (making me the most popular guy in my group for at least a little while). There was a special on TV celebrating the completion of world wide satellite broadcasting. I remember watching The Beatles finishing “All you need is love” live! It was epic! all kinds of celebrities’ Like Mick Jagger and Tommy Smothers joined in on the refrain! And when Paul and John sang “She loves you yah yah yah” at the end I laughed out loud!

Welcome Daniel! I know you will find this place comforting. It is a place filled with joy and laughter and wonderful music!

I agree about “I got a name” but with everything that they’ve got going on (and the incredibly long list of requests for cover songs) I think I’ll just wait and see what they come up with.

Member06/02/2021 at 16:04 in reply to: If MLT visited your city, where would you take them !?I would take them to our Milwaukee county zoo first (we have a world class zoo and they love animals), then maybe our art museum, then a walk on our lakefront. If it’s after corona we’d go to a couple of live music venues. We also have some wonderful German restaurants around town. Of course they’ll probably never come here but a man can dream!

Off the top of my head I’d say “I’ll follow the sun”, “Daydream”, “God only knows”, “Little drummer boy/Peace on earth” and all of the Cavern Club CD.

I agree with Bill, it would be awesome to hear you redo some of your older stuff now that you’re grown and matured as artists.
-
I wish I had an 8 year old to help me like you do Bill! I’m so thankful I still have a CD player in my car!

What a great idea for a contest David! If you win will you take me with you?
