I’m with you Jung, JP and Bill! The girls rock, the production values rock and the club rocks! I would dearly love to see the twins live here in the states! Down with Covid! Up with MLT! Let’s start a chant like they did at Woodstock!
-
Another triumph Jax! You captured the mood of the club and our reactions to it!
-
One of my favorite Christmas songs. I definitely would request the twins to cover it. Go for it!
-
Like I told you before, oh you can’t do that!
-
OK I’m going with Jung on the high note (she’s leaving home) and David on the low note (I’m a loser) Phone lines are closed, do we have a winner?
-
Welcome to the club Charles! We have a great group of like minded people here who all feel better listening to our lovely talented hosts. Feel free to interact with all us goofy, interesting folks as we go off on some strange tangents in our threads! It’s always fun! You won’t have any problem staying groovy here!

It looks like a wedding dress! At the other end of the spectrum is the jeans outfits in the It Ain’t Me Babe session! Of course the girls are so lovely that whatever they wear looks good!

I always liked Barbara Ann. It was quite a change from their well produced, slick recordings. I always wondered if it was a back of the hand to their father Murray who was quite overbearing and mean to the boys. Just my opinion.

I can only think of 3.
Why don’t we do it in the road.
Honey pie.
Wild honey pie.
These always sounded like filler to me. Just my opinion. And to echo Joseph by this time most of Paul’s songs were solo songs anyway.
-
So, who wants to call Sir Paul and get to the bottom of this?
-
I always thought it was Paul being cheeky!
-
I agree David about Monas harmony! I love how she modulates up and then back down at the end! And Lisas voice is so pure and lovely! Does anyone remember when Paul sang it he said “I never soar them winging?” I always loved that!

The only difference is I’m listening longer and more often. Music does sooth the troubled soul.

This was Clapton’s best solo IMHO.
-
To all your lists (some great ones) I would add
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Terry Kath of Chicago
Also Mona and Lisa’s friend Albert Lee.
and Alvin Lee from 10 Years After.
And as many of you have posted David Gilmore.
And Jackies fav. Vince Gill.
OK I’m done now.
