A well thought out post Joseph! I tend to agree with all your points. I would love to see the new version of Let it Be. It’s supposed to show a different side to the making of the album. And don’t forget the rooftop concert which showed the boys getting back to the basics. One After 909 rocks!

Jung, Sunday Morning Coming Down was written by Kris Kristopherson (who wrote Me and Bobbie Magee) and recorded by Johnny Cash (and by Kris)

Monday Monday but on Tuesday I’ve got Friday on my mind! Of course Saturday night’s  alright for fighting! But then Sunday morning’s coming down.

  • Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to you Jax! I am thankful for the MLTClub and all the wonderful people on it like you!

I agree with you Bill! In many of their videos you can see them connecting with each other! There’s a video on the Youtube of the two of them singing “For what it’s worth” where their eyes meet and the connection is very strong and it gives me chills every time! Pure sisterly love!

Believe me we are all very happy that you’ve chosen to share your lives with us! I myself am very camera shy (with good reason! See my profile picture) so I admire your selflessness and ease before the lens! Take as long as you like to comb your hair and change out of your pjs!

  • Don’t forget Chicago. And it’s a country song but “What made Milwaukee famous has made a fool out of me!” being from the Milwaukee area I can relate!

It’s not a song title but anyone remember Archie Bell and the Drells doing the Tighten up?

I agree with Joseph about not liking the short (single) version of a song! Interesting memory, when I was young I thought artists made songs longer for albums not shortened them for single edits! Ah youth!

I finish every day with a selection of MonaLisaTwins music on my phone. The order switches around according to my mood, rockers one day, sweet songs the next. Sometimes covers, sometimes originals. They always make me happy! Love those girls!

My wife was a teacher and one of the songs she taught her class was Joy to the World. The kids (3rd and 4th grade) loved the line “Jerimiah was a bullfrog!” One of my favorite 3 Dog Night songs is Eli’s coming. Great keyboard part.

I have a personal lyric hall of fame, lines that really reach me. One of them is “we’re run by maniacs by maniac means” from still a friend of mine. Lovely turn of phrase.
