  • Fantastic cover and great video. I love the blue Lennon glasses! The slide work is sublime and Lisa’s laugh is really spot on. The song is almost as beautiful as they are!

Here’s another gem I listen to somewhat frequently. Joni Mitchell supplies the back up vocals which are really great. Great song to mellow down with. I really thought he would become more popular but there was a lot of competition in 1972!!

Nicky played for quite a few bands but he was particularily brilliant with Quicksilver Messenger Service on the album, Shady Grove. This long meandering instrumental (Edward the Mad Shirt Grinder) was written by him between takes of another song. Piano isn’t phenominal but the composition is. This is a hidden gem I play at least a couple of times a year. He also plays some fine organ and harpsichord as this piece goes on. If you manage to make it to the end I applaud you!!

Really enjoyed that 90 minutes of music, chat, give aways, questions from MLT members and announcements. Dream a Little Dream was gorgeous!! The new song was really really good. Can’t wait for the new CD and merch and then comes the Advent Calendar. Like the format they have chosen with live streams every day!!!

Hope you can perform it. It’s a great song and the video of the kids growing up is priceless. One of my favorites of their originals.

Jung…I agree with your sentiment 100%. Of course I’d be all in but my guess is they aren’t ready to go on the road at this time.

Looks like you had some great weather. I went to Middle and High School on the Cape from the town of West Falmouth. Younger brother lives there so we usually visit once every one or two years. I like the beach towel!!!!

Couldn’t agree with you more…after about my 10th watch on here and YouTube!! I wondered if they’d try to make that into a regular video rather than an animation video and really was having difficulting in thinking about how they would do it. This was the right way!!! Can’t wait to see whats been percolating in the ladies minds recently.

Thx Tomas…and the price is great. I keep going back and forth about displaying them in single frames or in a larger group. Your picture helps!!!

I have no doubt that animals are attracted to certain kinds of music. My dog seems to like classical piano. I have not tried playing along with the Twins but I am working on a few of their songs!

  • Jurgen … A while back I was on the Board of the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra. The relationship between music and math was always something promoted. The kids in the top tier ochestra (there were 3 then) all went to top notch schools partly because of how music and math evolved their minds. Thx for sharing that video

  • Listening to the Theremin in Somewhere over the Rainbow it somehow reminded me of Jeff Beck’s last recording with Clapton, Moon River. Jeff’s guitar work before the vocals start it’s so amazing. The video is also mildly entertaining. I love JS Bach and have several different Bach Compete Organ cycles (Alain, Chapius, Rogg and several others). I love everything Bach has ever done. Like Mozart and Beethoven for me he is at the top of the list.

I don’t think it needs to come down . I think your reply was very cogent and helpful.
