I hope i can show you a bit soon, they are to shy to play online, but at a Christmas market to be held last year, one of my students, Maria drew a sign, she
s the biggest fan, she says she wants to write songs like Lisa does, so shes trying that, and are actually off to a good start. but anyway, the sign saying the MonaLisa guitarclub, and most of the girls would be there, so we could get a picture to send to you, but unfortunately Covid put a stop to that, but well try again at a local festival, later this Spring. Thanks for the explanation, ill try with The Boxer style first, since i`m familiar with that one. -
I was 6 years old, and being danish, didn
t understand a word they were singing. Lol. Now its in my top 3 of favourite Beatles albums. -
I agree. Count On Me is my favourite on the album, after Still A Friend Of Mine. A beautiful melody and great lyrics, and that fingerpicking opening with the lines: Sometimes i throw a stone into the darkness – just to see what sound it makes, is pure Paul Simon poetry. I would also love to see a duo session of it, would make it easier to figure out that fingerpicking pattern, lol

Lisa is the main leadsinger on most of their songs, but Mona usually sings the rock songs
-
The duo sessions are my favourite thing in the club, i really love those. Specially when it`s a original song. The acoustic version of In It For Love is great, i almost prefer it to the album version
-
I
m one of those who prefer other people, like The Byrds singing his songs too, but he is an amazing songwriter, and it is actually strange they havent covered more of his songs, i know they are big fans -
I know several female fans, but it seems they are the quiet type, but then i can
t complain about that, so am i. Ive been with them more than 11 years, and theres several people who writes more posts in 6 months, than ive done all that time. Lol -
Those two are my favourite albums too, I think Revolver is probably the Beatles album, that has most great songs on it
-
If we`re talking guitarists who also incorporate classical music, i think we need this one with Glen Campbell too http://youtube.com/watch?v=GUBhE00h9U0

Some chords are more difficut than others, but for me the F was the impossible one, took me months to make those two bottom strings sound like anything
-
Thanks for the answer. I
m glad he talked you into that, its perfect for the song. My students can play the rhytm guitar, but i wish you hadn`t said that about pushing yourself, because now i have to see if i can figure out your part, he. -
True. Also Jon Lord`s keyboards were very influenced by classic music
