    OK… Gonna share my 2 cents here…

Though I’ve poetically written about this topic kind of in my own way over the years .. It’s all true… They are just refreshing in today’s music landscape with the ability to not only intertwine and incorporate both old and new whether it be their originals and Covers… It’s all distinctively and Uniquely Their Own Style and Sound… No denying and timeless in the sense of the Musicianship itself…. Music created proper-like in terms of quality and caliber will forever resonate from generation to generation .. Reach globally to all… That is what MLT has… Their Spirit Soul Groovy… It has found its way from within them to Eminate outwards through instrumentation .. Vocals.. Creativity… For all to enjoy and be touched by  Kudos for onward going with doing what matters truly and it clearly shines through  Like a Blossom Bloom poetically ????????????❤️????????????✌️????☮️????????????????️????????????????????????????????????????????????????????☺️????????????????????????????????????

Jung… That’s one of my fave scenes from the movie… Megan Follows is the best Anne of Green Gables ever cast IMHO… Loved her in the 2 other sequels… Lol…

Well… Since we’re onto the topic of pens and Penmanship…. Let me say I Luv pens… Purple Ones in paeticular✒️… And writing in general… But for me it has not always come easy… In fact I’ve struggled pretty much all through my childhood with printing and writing issues… Beginning in Kindergarten-High-school .. Brought mostly on with lack of hand and eye coordination skills due to me being a full term baby at 3 pounds and 3 ounces (Mom didn’t show much with me so when it was time… They didn’t think she was having a baby… Lol)

I guess because of my size… There were concerns and ended up staying a month or so in hospital… Probably until I was at least 4-5 pounds to be considered for going home… Fast fwd to my 2nd year of Grade 7 (my atrocious handwriting played  partly of a role here in my repeating Gr. 7 amongst other stuff not worth posting here)… Seeing I was still having issues…. Learning to write in Grades 2&3… Like Kindergarten for me with printing… No picnic here… Lol… My English /Grammar teacher for a two month session I think it was… Held every morning at school before school began or at lunchtime if morning not doable… Handwriting Sessions 101…. She had beautiful writing… She was UK English while her husband (my History teacher) was of Scottish stock. Anyways… Because of her teaching methods and encouragement .. My writing improved … Though sometimes now..  It can revert to being messy bad at times but on the whole .. It’s still better than what it once was… Though in this day and age I text-type more than actual write but I still like to write out poems… Grocery list… Etc…

Though my printing and writing struggles were real and not to be made fun of by no means in conjunction with probably learning issues stemming from that as I think I had looking back at it now though back then they wouldn’t have known or had resources to properly address and offerings to help like they do now in schools. ????☮️

Can you tell I like to write?! .. OK.. My mini-novel is done

Of course .. BTO rox… Canadian iconic legends in Canadian Rock N Roll… I’m a Canucker here too… I know who ya mean by – – EH ????????… How about The Tragically Hip?! .. Mind you yes back in the day… Even before I existed… And growing up… Alot of great ???????? R&R bands and music came out..  I had borrowed from library awhile back ago… A great DVD featuring early days ????????Canadian Music Scene… Oh… Ronnie Hawkins.. (I did not know for the longest time he wasn’t originally Canadian  until awhile back ago…)… In this DVD .. There were bands that I then found out who were behind some songs I’ve known growing up but never knew exactly sang them…

I can see MLT being more than capable of doing any  guitar-enthusiasm song with complete confidence… Original and coversong-wise… We’ve witnessed it… We know it can be done… For me they can equal or even slightly better the original as their take just sounded a tad better????????☮️????????????????❤️????????????????????????️????????????✌️????????????

That’s my sentiments too…. MLT have that impact on folks… Their Music heals… Brings Joy and Positivity laughter… Calming… Inspires… Creates friendships… Today’s music landscape… For the most part…. Just lacks the caliber and craftsmanship that music of long ago… Prior to 1990… Anything from 1920s – 1960s was the best time for music…. Some 1970s – 1980s stuff works…. But from mid 1990s onwards… Somewhere… The calbre and such got lost… Went Awol…. With exception of a few local area and a few Canadian bands I still enjoy music of as for /to me… Have that Musicianship I can appreciate right up there with MLT…. Sorry to say but there are few mainstream stuff I care about these days… If an indie band or singer strikes a musical Chord with me nowadays… It has to be because the music spoke to me in a sense…. That’s my 2 cents worth here????☮️

Yep… And probably a gazillion more… Hmmm… I wonder… If any Canadian bands or singers of past and present have Time Themed songs… Lol… Jim Croce… Time in a Bottle… That just came to me now .. Not Canadian or Cyndi Lauoer’s Time After Time… Lol

Good Q Mike and love  and appreciate Mona’s detailed reply and what she stated makes perfect sense and I agree on all facets that she elaborated on.  While it’s good to do a varied setlist repertoire for gigs in general… Wherever the venue or gig type… It’s healthy to shake things up… Not play some songs for awhile… Breathe new life… Try out new stuff whether originals or covers…. Never get bored or get into the live funct burnout thing… Approach it to make it more enjoyable for all… Tis better to pour heart and soul and remain true then to go Music gig Awol and be no longer Contented… This is just my 2 cents worth of thought on this.

Lol… I certainly could imagine Lisa doing “American Woman” guitar riff……. There are so many amazing guitarists out there to choose from… Vince Gill… late Jeff Healey… late Stevie Ray Vaughan .. late Chet Atkins .. Etc… Whomever chosen.. Lisa would do it justice… Indeed????????????????☮️????
