- I’d like to clarify something here and now…..I ‘m not competing nor anyone is competing /challenging with me on the poetry. I enjoy reading poetry by others. I welcome seeing other creative poetical efforts here . I don’t see it as a challenge or competition and a tad uncomfortable with that description.

I’ve not been a Grammys or any music awards fan for quite some time , perhaps since 1990…anything after that , well, it’s just not really music to my ears ….anything prior to 1990, yes, at least there was REAL MUSIC , in a sense, even some attempts to try and showcase halfdecent stuff. the stuff from 1990s – now, in whatever genre…just not the same…. it lacks the calibre, originality, true craftsmanship of musicianship…Besides MLT, there are probably a few RARE GENUINE MusicGems out there, but rare….. I’m not a fan of today’s music landscape for the most part , sorry to say…. I like but a few outside MLT and Glass Tiger…. I like the oldschool stuff…when not listening to MLT, oldschool stuff is my Go-To Backup Music Appreciation of….

Sigh…wishing I had GuitarFingers ..then I could try and learn to play guitar, uke, etc…but alas my arthritis and short stubbylike hands and fingers…not meant for guitar playing but I can do a mean Air-Guitaring…lol…at least that way, I can play… I’d be having better luck at playing drums and sticking to cowbells and Tambourine…..LOL.. Although, I have on hold at the library, a BANJO , as the Public Libraries here where I am have introduced the program to borrow some limited used musical instruments for folks to borrow on loan for two weeks. I’m on a waiting HOLD list for my turn to have the banjo,….I’m willing to tackle it, have no clue on keys or notes I’m playing, I just play by ear and go with the sounds it makes…..LOL…I can’t read much music and rather play and learn by ear…..I’ll just stick to playing my tambourine and singing somewhat …..LOL

Canada has had Canadian Idol , now The Launch …I’m not a fan much of any of these shows….I’d rather watch someone perform live for their OWN MERIT whether they want to go on an d be famous or just continue to perform at the level of just performing, not out to be famous….I prefer the ORGANICS of music…Raw and no preservitives…100% natural….MLT in today’s Music Landscape ..is refreshing and necessary…I’m not a fan of hardly any of the music out their today , regardless of their genre whether a mixture of sorts or mainstream…. It has to move me lyrically and muscicwise for me to like/love it… That is my final 2 cents worth for this particular topic…..

Thankyou for the great replies here to my posting… Yes… I suppose it would make for a great question… Perhaps I inadvertingly did…… just didn’t realize it although this posting was not intended or meant to be a question… It is an observation from my view but I could see how it could be regarded as a possible future question to be asked either by myself or someone else for to ask… ????✌️☮️????????????❤️
