It’s a Glass Tiger Parody song, as I know most of their songs off by heart… not a parody I did from their songs I did years ago on cassette tape, but a new parody one, for this topic here….

I probably screwed up on that…but I tried… as I’ve said I do better at singing the song parodies while listening to originals as opposed to writing them down…lol..just easier for me but writing poetry, that’s a different thing, that is natural for me too,but I don’t always have something on hand to write/type the words and I’ve lost some potential poetry as a result…lol or trying to save them at library on their public computers at the time,back in the day, time was up on my computers use, lost poem, couldn’t save it…. forgot what the poem was by the time I got home….to write it down….

Good topic idea…lol…I’ve done this in my gead with MLT, Glass Tiger, etc and just abiut every other song I like…I’ll start thinking of different lyrics in my head and fisrt thing you know…I’m singing my version…lol ….only the problem is….I’ve never thought to write anything down…it ‘s all spur/spontaneous at the moment so, in a way that’s a challenge for me…I’d have to hear the song with one device, then record myself singing it before I could write anything down and/or…have original lyrics in front of me, and sing along as I read them and coneup with parodying them…lol…but…give me time….I could take a stab at this…do you mean a particular MLT song or any MlT song or non-MLT song ?!….

Good replies everyone, yes Jung, I used to enjoy watching those Hinterland TV commercials, Goid jokes Tom, and I too, still call it the Skydome ( my fave Canadian band,Glass Tiger and whom I also know personally, met them back in 1988-89 ish, were the first band to perform at Skydive, I gave it on VHS tape …lol… )

I had a nice/enjoyable Canada Day this year, I went out to a local area neighborhood Canada Day Festivities, where I saw some Indigenous Throat Singing, Traditional Hoop Dancing being performed on main stage plus some other local area entertainers/bands, it was crowded, but nothing like the insanity/chaoticness that downtown would of been m and I wanted to avoided downtown anyways, and prefer going to this local area neighborhood version of Canada Day Festivities instead…it was great to see /be at an outdoor event once again after 2 years of not being able to…I still wore my mask as did others but some didn’t as it’s an option now but some places still require you to wear one. MLT Music is an already a Given therefore for je what else comes to mind for this topic , is anything by Dusty Springfield, Mamas and Papas, Glass Tiger, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, , etc that are upbeat , fun lyrics, and I feel good and dance and sing along to, that defines my song choices of Hope… ????????

Hi Bill, glad your enjoying your recent retirement and I velueve tgere is a Purple Store in Myrtle Beach, a friend had vacationed there some time ago, and saw the store, I came to her mind, lol, she bought me Purple souvenir from the store ….lol…

I have 2 nephews who play softball (16/18) , well the younger nephew more keen on playing and even got to abroad a few yrs back with a special softball team he was invited to join on with for the trip and had arrived home just before Covid had hit and travel was to stop … yes Retirement has occured in my family too, I’m a few yrs away yet from it though I’ve worked since out of high school, 1989 at my career, not with same company all this time , but physically it’s begun to take toll on me so future retirement is on the horizon in the next few yrs… Keep On Enjoying the zretirement pace Journey, Happy you updated us all, Take Care ????????
