Hi Bill, Great Poll idea…. and I’m going with “Club 27″ as opener to get everyone full on #MLTBuzzLuvGroovified and the set list to be varied with mix of slow/fast songs of both originals and covers… Maybe even surprise all of us by performing something none of were expecting but received with utmost standing ovation and I think ” Still A Friend of Mine ” would make for the perfect closing song, to mellow us all out after an exhilarating concert experience, to which I would love to have them to an MLT Club Meet n Greet… ah, one can dream….This is my dream….????✌

Hi Roger, like Jung, I live in Canada but at the opposite end towards the East Coast ( in the province of Ontario), and because of the Covid situation, I too experienced delays from both directions regarding parcels, etc. …that is sending outside Canada and stuff coming from UK, etc.
A Canada Post outlet worker had told me at the time that all International Parcels being sent outside or coming to Canada were held in ” quarantine” for so many number of days before they were /are released to be delivered.

Thankyou Rudi for letting us know, I thought maybe it was my Android tablet/phone that were the issues of it, glad they let you know that they fixed it.

Member25/09/2021 at 15:53 in reply to: John Sebastian and Arlen Roth Explore the Spoonful SongbookI had recalled awhile back ago that the mentioning MLT were doing backing vocals on John’s CD project,(either it was an MLT interview or in a posting they made)this one…. will be ordering it eventually, but in the meantime, I’ve added it to my Spotify playlist to enjoy… Loved MLT’s added harmonies, it just works and all complimentary with each other, intertwines awesomely. Yes, it’s highly recommended that one adds to their Spotify Playlist or whichever streaming yiu use and buy the CD.. MLT can add their #MLTBuzzLuvGroovified Midas Magic touch to any musical project with others, on their own….Barone, Bonafide ????☮

I like some Musicals soundtracks too, like CATS, West Side Story, Grease, etc…
Great topic Jurgen….????

Dusty Springfield, being a woman producer of her own records in modern times ( 60s) to my knowledge… She didn’t dare get her name out on records to be properly credited for because she thought/knew tgat would cause grief but did eventually , in her later stuff, put her name down in the credits as producer … For/To me , I consider that as her being a Pioneer, because other than her, in modern times(60s) , I’m not aware of any other woman who produced her own stuff back then .

Besides MLT, for me the best live band, are my buddies ( yes, I’ve known them since 1988-89, when I got to meet them after a show in Ottawa) from the Canadian band Glass Tiger, they can Rock Live and the one time I saw Jeff Healey and his band live, and sames goes for Vince Gill and his band he had on tour with him at the time I saw him as well in Ottawa as with Jeff too.

Jung: That’s cool, yes, whenever they get out again to Vancouver area, you should consider going to see them, Al is awesome on his guitar, Wayne is currently on sabbatical from playing bass (busy with his Skyshed business, personal reasons too ) but Tom Lewis has been filling in playing bass in his place temporarily, Sam on keyboards, Chris on drums, Alan on lead vocals, Carmela on backup vocals, they rock live !!!!
PS– Michael Hanson was their former original drummer, he left to pursue solo stuff. Al and Sam, Alan have also done tgeir share if solo side stuff too. Before tge GT formation ( They were called “Tokyo” before they changed bandname to Glass Tiger) , Also, they all were in separate bands previous to joining forces to become Tokyo/GT….
