This year’s Grocery Store OutdoorGarden Flowers I picked for this year’s efforts of Springtime 2021 FlowerPower outside my apt unit…

During this Pandemic time, I’ve developed the habit of once in awhile to treating myself to an indoor “Cheer Myself Up” bouquet from the grocery store Floral Dept inside store.

Well, Jung, having grown up in a household where Elvis, Bobby Vinton, Tom Jones and predominantly country music reigned, my late parent’s music tastes… those were the kind of Silly Love Songs, and yes, Big Band Era stuff too… where’s my older brothers had their own music tastes..lol…not really Silly Love songs material per se but the oldest bro was more and still is into the country/southern rock stuff while other bro still enjoys his Blues/Rock, and I, having the ecclectic music 5aste in my famiky, a little most everything…. I do like that Paul McC’s ” Silly Little Love Sonf” that you offered up the link of, and yes MLT’S ” Close To You” has a great effect…

Orange just has that #MLTBuzzLuvGroovified Creativity Juice that flowed from beginning to end and in between, each time you listen, something new hits you that you learn that of which you did not notice before then, etc…

Agreed , YouTube has rekindled, jargoned and surprises me with long lost but lovingly forgotten and/or cringeworthy music I enjoyed/disliked as a kid/teen years up to present day, makes me think of my late parents, and finding new funky twists on songs I love, etc….????

Thanks David for the graph chart link reference that visual puts it into a better grasp understanding for me .

I’m hoping folks under age of 50 are discovering and appreciating MLT … but there’s always going to be those who just don’t dig old school stuff, just hell bent on a specific genre and/or just what the present music landscape predominately consists of, as in radio station formats. Back in the day, different radio stations catered to specific music lovers, not the case now , at least maybe in Canada, USA…!?!?
The online radio streaming indie/etc outlet stations have salvaged that catering to specific music lovers notion… allowing for MLT to be aired whereas on some actual radio stns, not online, that’s not the case, because the bigwigs that run these stations have the radio formats setup in a specific way, geared towards a certain age demographic that doesn’t necessarily reflect appreciation for old school type but more what the “Now” is that going on in music landscape… just my thoughts…????

I kinda grasp what you’re saying here David, lol, not fully but a glimmer of an ” Ah, Ok, I kinda get what he’s saying”…lol… explained in simpler terms with a visual reference , like a graph/chart would help me gain better understanding….But what I wanted to add to this, as it got me curious and wondering… the age of fans watching/discovering MLT videos and if that has perhaps any significance/lean/influence factor on the numbers you mention… from what I noticed amongst membership here, and outside MLT Club, MLT fans in general, for the most part range in the 50+ yrs of age age bracket, moreso leaning towards into the late 50s-70 age bracket, while there are some under 50 but it’s predominantly over 50 yrs of age bracket. I hope I may myself understood in my explanation, my apologies now if I’ve failed to do so and have you confused or misinterpreted my post because of how I tried to convey my thoughts. Not always good at making myself understood, that is what I was thinking to put into words. ????

Lol…still no real full clue as to whats being said in the MLTSongViewEquation but if it means so many folks are looking, listening in on them, that’s the most important factor… The factor, being they’re tuning in, not how many but the fact they’re tuning in, that is what makes and matters to me… lol… but carry on, I’ll just read with ongoing confusion somewhat and being entertained … ????????

For the record, I’ve always been and remain a Visual Learner/ Concrete Learner, thus probably why Math , related stuff I’ve never understood, always will struggle with, my brain just can’t grasp those concepts, not that I’m stupid, I jyst can’t honestly grasp any of that stuff, I cannot process it… I learn best by lots of detail in visual, concrete means, thus why I’m good at poetry, drawing, trying to pkay an instrument by ear and watching how it is done…etc… If I cannot visualize a concept, then pretty much all hope is lost with me…lol????

Thankyou Lisa for your reply ????????… what you said, makes musician’s sense ….!!!! Like me with my poems, I have some binders/ notebooks worth, some scraps of paper, napkins I’ve written poems on, etc… my phone, tablet… but along the way due to computer/tablet/phone issues or not having something handy to write down the poem as it was on my mind, I’ve lost a few potential poems.. but I keep on writing anyways and try to remember to save if online, or keep a wee notebook in my knapsack…
