Ok, I’m going to be the oddball quirky one here… If you’re comparing strictly MLT covers to originals, my answer is for most part, Equal, as I love both versions and cannot decide , so I stay neutral with treating them as Equally fab, original and MLT versions, but if you’re meaning in general, then I will say yes in some cases, the covers do better than original and perhaps a few I think Equal too… it really depends on who is doing the remakes, this is my opinion and 2 cents worth, you can respectfully disagree or agree… To me I think it all boils down to personal preferences.

OMG, how I love that tv theme song, enjoyed the show …we’re all along the same mindsets here, …lol… then there was ALF, Outta This World, and there was a tv show from 50s/60s about an alien family…. can’t think of it’s title at the moment, I did see reruns of it though

I’m thinking of plenty, too many to fit on here…lol but would love to see them do “Paper Back Writer”, ” Long and Winding Road”, I can hear their renditions of those in my head no problem… the songs also mentioned in this topic from other replies, etc.
If the song lends itself musically, in terms of vocals compatibility, with MLT, it can be done, regardless of what era it came from.

Hi Nigel, yes, you’re correct about Phil Collins song reference but it had the word ” Alien” in it…lol… as for Mork & Mindy, I loved that show and did you know Mork character was actually introduced on a Happy Days epusode or two before it got it’s own spinoff.
