And to add, to this topic of Jung’s, though not necessarily direct pipe organs related, but kind of, here’s a great YT clip that really explains how the Peace Tower Bells work in the Centre Block of Parliament Hill ( I’ve been inside Parliament Hill, only a handful of times but never up to the Bell part, only to the Question Period Area, private banquet room, main floor, etc. …the Question Period room tour was part of a Grade 10 History class field trip, while the private banquet room was for a Xmas party that a friend of mine invited me to, when she was working on the Hill at the time for a long time before she had to retire from her work in the food sector( “food prep assistant ” ) due to medical/health issues…the whole inside of all of Parliament Hill is quite interesting…. and even more , the fact that the only original Parliament Building part that survived the Great Fire was its Library ….

Okay , that was your quick condensed History lesson of Ottawa’s Parliament Hill from my perspective….lol…

Here’s that link for the Bell Tower working & how it works :

I love pipe organs ….. I’ve only ever seen a few times that I’ve been inside the Christ Cathedral in downtown Ottawa for special occasions , that I’ve seen pipe organs in person …..

I’m sure the Notre Dame Basilica close by downtown has some too, but I’ve never been in there…..yet…..

Though I’ve been inside the famous Basilica in downtown Montreal only once, that was stunning to see …..๐Ÿค˜๐ŸŽผ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽน๐Ÿ”Š๐ŸŽš๐ŸŽ›

Hi Jung, No that was not a young Bryan Adams in that video ….only a lookalike…great dating though…The Real Bryan Adam’s only did vocals on song… never appeared in either video versions of this song ….. I prefer this song done Live….beats the record version hands diwn…well, actually, GT is better Live , all around, much more rock n rollin except for the slower songs but still, better Live…. I should know, only known them personally since 1988-89 and seen them in concert as in lost track how many times …. and always a great visit with them either before a show or after or both .

One of the best gestures they did a few years ago was to do a private surprise gig at a nursing home for a woman who I think is their oldest fan, it was arranged by a lifelong GT fan that works at the nursing home who arranged it, and the guys were playing a concert gig that night or next day ….it went viral….it was on the news ….

GT and their respect/love to their fans parallels what/how MLT are with fans and These are the only bands I can honestly think of /know truly, genuinely that has this effect…๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Œ

Yes….I believe it’s still like that… did let Team MLT know a couple days ago as it’s been like this for a few days to a week now….but glad you also posted in Support/Suggestions area, just in case the message I sent wasn’t received …. I sure don’t know what/why this is going on for Team MLT, but it’s both frustrating/disturbing ….hoping it all can be fixed ….and hoping further preventive measures can be implemented to stop further reoccurences … I’m sorry this has happened to/for them .

  • Thankyou Rudi with reply…

Testing 123 … Also was wondering if a compatibility issue with WordPress using different browsers and devices whether it be Android/Apple, etc could also be a potential factor… though I’m no means at all TechSmart, I do know how Facebook App runs/setup is differently than the computer desktop version and of said devices whether mobile smartphones/tablets of both Android/Apple would/could also be a factor …. just wondering … hoping this posts, Thankyou

  • Hi Jung, I just posted with no issues just a short time ago…. not sure what is going on, but definitely something going on with the official MLT Facebook as old postings from around 2018, and earlier is what shows up on there…. I’m not sure why things are technically going WonkyHacky for Team MLT, and I feel badly tgat this occurring and how frustrating, etc it is, but hoping all will be fixed and back on track to the Full Throttle #MLTBuzzLuvGroovified – ness …

My buddies — Canadian Band Glass Tiger… while all their songs have awesome bass lines ( whether it’s Wayne Parker playing or Tom Lewis who is filling in for Wayne when they’ve been on tour because Wayne took an indefinite hiatus to focus on his portable Astronomy Observatory Dome-Shed business ) , the one song that stands out the most…. Don’t Forget Me , I’m sharing 2 different videos , a Canadian version and a USA version they did eons ago, and yes, Bryan Adams guest -vocalled on it, and their buddy I think, Jim Creegan co wrote it, or at least had some collaboration input into the Thin Red Album to which this song comes from …. ( Mona and Lisa gave a link to Jim’s son music on here or it was YouTube …. that was a cool connection for me )

Just to be clear, Glass Tiger stuff like this song, doesn’t define/pigeonhole them musically, as sadly some critics have done so over the years , they are different when live, started out as a bar band under a different name at the time :Tokyo …. so they’re actually more rock …lol… but over recent years, their music has evolved still in their own style, but not quite as sappy as Don’t Forget Me, but more edgier/rock-ish, reminiscent of their Tokyo days … their album ” Simple Mission ” , to me clearly established of what their sound in the future would become. As I say, many are surprised when they see/hear GT live and/or of their more recent stuff because, in people’s minds , they still see/hear that sappy sound of GT of the past, and dwell on that as how GT sounds instead of opening their minds and actually listening to All their music and are surprised by what they hear, perhaps, hopefully, changes their pre- conceived notions of how GT’s music is defined …..

    Okay here’s the 2 video links :

I echo Jung ‘s sentiments …. I sort of said similarly in my own reply to this posting a few days ago .. . The music creating, etc. I believe is their main focus for time being and whenever it will feel right for them to do touring gigs Globally, that will be when it will be /feel right for them to do so … Again…hoping All of at some point, somewheres will see them live and have a awesome Bonafide #MLTBUZZLUVGROOVIFIED Meet n Greet with them and MLT Clubbers/Fans … ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿซถโ˜ฎ๏ธ

  • Arrgghh, sorry to hear Jung, wish I couldhelp you out but I’ve no clue why/how but don’t give up, keep trying, use different browser, etc, where’s there’s a will, there’s an #MLTBuzzLuvGroovified way …๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿ™ƒ
