I like your analogy of comparing the Duo Sessions to art exhibits. At least here we don’t have to worry about parking.

Scrolling through this thread I am reminded of my inability to choose a favorite Duo Session. They are all so moving that it’s almost impossible to rank them. The live stream felt like a private Duo Session. We were witness to true art. A lot of artists rely on so much post production that their true voice disappears. MLT adds just enough reverb to make their natural voices just a little more clear.

If pressed, I would say the next Duo Session I click on will be my favorite…for a moment.

    Hey Jung,

Thanks for finding that pic of Mona with a bird eating out of her hand. It’s impossible to describe without being cliche.

eat out of the palm of someone’s hand: A reference to the way an animal must be tamed before it will eat from someone’s palm. To obey, cooperate with, or believe with no resistance or hesitation; to be completely charmed by.

    Hi Diana,

The story was great. I think everyone did a good job of following a basic theme. Although, I think we were supposed to do it with blinders on and not dig way back. That was nearly impossible with so many people participating. Either way it was a lot of fun. The reading was very special, indeed.

Jung, that skiing dog video is funny. I bet that dog has a great personality.

I listened to a bit of Kate Bush a while back. She has a very unique voice. This song was used on the soundtrack of a Kevin Bacon movie in the late eighties. Now that I say that I remember it was the nineties when I was listening to her. Seems like yesterday? She always surrounded herself with talented musicians, well it is just her in this one.

David Gilmour produced her first record. I think she was nineteen at the time. He would later play on her albums and on stage with her band.

Jung sends everyone down a rabbit hole. I got drawn back into the marathon video as soon as I clicked play. They did an awesome job with this video. It was probably a good idea to leave those horses in the fog.

Day trip to Anglesey has that pic of Mona hand feeding a horse. She’s a regular horse whisperer. It seems like there are always some great seagull shots. It’s kind of like they attract seagulls or are the same flock of gulls following the Wagners on all of their adventures? I like that recent one of Rudi sneaking up on a seagull perched on a railing.

The archives have so many incredible pictures to scroll through I got lost. I am trying to find that pic of Mona feeding a pigeon out of her hand. Wasn’t the pigeon sitting on her shoulder?

Thanks for these stats, David. To think that when I watch Wish You Were Here there are two and half other people watching it at the same time. I wish that half person could become whole again. ????☕️☕️

Thanks again, these numbers are very interesting. I think you are correct regarding less viewership in December due the holiday festivities.

    Hi Jim,

Have you checked out the Out&About section? There are some great videos of Lisa and Mona showcasing their extracurricular activities. The skydiving video is a good one, along with the marathon videos. They all have great soundtracks, too.

Happy New Year Bill and Maddie!

The live stream was great. We were glad to see you both there. It must be a thrill for Maddie when Lisa and Mona say hello to her. And I am sure you get a kick out of watching Maddie react.

Here’s to another fun year at the MLT Club

Here’s a Dad joke. What do you call looking for my wife in Walmart?

Marlo Polo or Where’s Marlo (except I can’t get her to wear Waldo’s striped sweater?)

I got mine today, also. It was tucked in with two autographed CD’s, an autographed DVD, and an Orange guitar pick. The guitar pick goes perfect with my new capo and new amp.

Check it out. What color Orange amp do you want? Orange of course. Santa was good to me this year.

    You chicks rock!

When a musician becomes one with their instrument, it’s difficult to not watch them. These two are really amazing. Thanks for sharing this one.
