    Hi Nicholas

Have you checked out the Out & About section? There is a lot of groovy “Junk” here. Also, check out “Junk” in the Duo Sessions.

My knowledge of vegemite can be credited to A man in Brussels described by Men At Work:

Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscle
I said, “Do you speak-a my language?”
He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich

Up until the age of fifteen, I had not known of its existence. It does not appeal to me and I feel no need to taste it. I am on Team Mona with this one.

Today was yesterday’s future. Technically true, does that statement carry the same wonderment for Ai as it does for us?

What did you think when you read the first statement? My mind runs to things I might have done differently if not for the want of a nail. And then to how that might’ve have changed today’s outcome. Would the Ai just pass it by as a true statement?

    Hi Walter,

I agree with you on Volume 3. Every song on there is incredible. White Room really shows off Lisa and Mona’s many talents. Lisa’s got a real Jack Bruce vibe going, and then she tears into those guitar licks like she wrote them. It’s no surprise that Mona Baker is a fan of Ginger.

This is a great album for my morning commute. Sometimes Morning Has Broken comes on at just the right time as the road turns into the sunrise.

    Hi Alexandre,

Greetings from upstate New York. Have you checked out the & about section under specials? There is a great video from when the girls went skydiving for their 18th birthday. It has an awesome soundtrack.

There is so much to see and hear at this awesome site. Have fun!

I landed here after seeing Lisa and Mona’s cover of Wish You Were Here. The Duo Sessions are beyond amazing.

I know this does not relate to the 60’s/70’s theme, but I thought you might like it.

Have you ever seen the album cover for Pink Floyd’s “A Momentary Lapse Of Reason”? It came out in 1987. I remember when we first got it and saw the picture of hundreds of old beds lined up on the beach, we thought it was some kind of camera trick.

But no-o-o, this is Pink Floyd. Actually it is Storm Thorgerson, the same guy that designed most of their album covers. So they assembled hundreds of these wrought iron beds and lined them up on the beach just in time to get rained out. I think they are supposed to represent hospital beds from a mental institution. The beds were a recurring theme in the concert videos for that tour. At the end of “On The Run” they always flew a plane across the stadium on a cable that would crash into the stage on cue with the music. For this tour, the plane was replaced with a bed. It was pretty kool, as it synced with the film that was shown on their giant screen on stage.

In this behind the scenes video, hen you see the helicopter flying over the beach, just think nowadays that is replaced by a drone that is a thousand times less expensive. This reminds me of the spirit of MLT with a lot more players. Anything for a picture. I wonder if all the bed movers were volunteers.

Hi Juergen, have you seen this one. Mark has a very unique voice. It has aged and here it brings a new feeling to this timeless classic. It’s practically a tear jerker(if no one is looking)
