Hi Rick,
I too have landed on that screen before. I found that if I close the browser and open a new browser, I am able to log in like normal.

Hmm, 1966? That would put me at fifteen months old. Wow, so far we are all pretty close in age.
I don’t feel old, I just am.
I saw a great meme the other day. It said,”Why is it that I can remember the lyrics to hundreds of eighties songs, but I can’t remember why I came came into this room?”

Welcome to one of best places on the web. I can relate to your enthusiasm. A lot of us felt the same way upon discovering the MonaLisaTwins. It was like discovering gold. There is so much to see and hear, I’m still finding new stuff a year later. I recommend The MonaLisa Twins play Beatles & more Volume 3. Check out their cover of “White Room”. It is amazing. The entire album is amazing!
You are just in time, as there is a new release of original music on the way.

Jung, I love the Mona Lisa colors are on the correct side. We have orange and yellow lilies in front of our porch. My orange lilies blossomed before the yellow ones, (seen above) plus they are on the opposite side when viewed from the front yard. Hmm, the orange ones were first, but the yellow ones were a little taller. Now if I can just get them to blossom at the same time.
Thomas, too bad your are having dry weather. We have had rain for weeks here in upstate New York Our lawn is becoming a jungle.

Wow, thanks Melvin. I have not heard about that before. It’s crazy to think of all the manual labor that went into creating that effect. Nowadays it’s clickety-click. Back in the eighties I knew a guy with a nice reel to reel. We could simply switch the reels to the opposite spindles and change it to the opposite channel to hear a recording backwards. That was how we were able to hear the backward message on Pink Floyd’s The Wall.
Thanks for that little tidbit. I love hearing about how bands were able to create some kool effects long before the digital world.

Hi Graham,
Where have you been , it’s alright, we know where you’ve been
Nice to meet another Floydian. Mona and Lisa have done magic with “Wish You Were Here”, eh? The Duo Sessions are fantastic. Have you checked out the Sky Diving video? It’s amazing and has a fantastic soundtrack.
Welcome my son…

Hi Ian,
Great to have you on board. Are you familiar with the story of Rip Van Winkle? The story is set in the Catskill Mountains, which is where I am. We are about two hours north of New York City. Rip is the adopted mascot of this area. We have a mile long bridge that leads out of the Village of Catskill and across the Hudson River called the Rip Van Winkle bridge.
Have you checked out the Out and About section? Lisa and Mona went skydiving for their eighteenth birthday and made this really kool video of it. There is a lot to see and hear here. Enjoy the ride.

Welcome to the koolest club on the web. I really like when you said,”Then they sing and life starts to make sense again.”
Be sure and check out the Specials section. There is a very kool video of Lisa and Mona’s sky diving adventure in the Out & About section.
Good luck with your blog.

I keep hearing Mr Roarke’s voice,”Smiles, smiles everyone…”
If you know what I am talking about, we are definitely showing our age. LOL

Michael,
I think you should at least get a t-shirt after all that. ????

Two guitars, two voices, two big smiles, well three if you count mine. ???? and yours, and yours
I love this performance. It really showcases their talents. I am amazed by artists who can just sit down and deliver so much emotion like this. It’s such a catchy tune to begin with, and then add that MLT Groove and those overly-contagious smiles, it adds an extra bounce to the song.
I think we have all said this song sounds like it was written for them.
Thanks for digging these gifts of grooviness out of the archives.

I love discovering these gems. I have been paying more attention to their originals, so I guess that’s my excuse for missing out on Volume 3. Until now, that is. Volume 3 has been on replay for a couple of days.
White Room is kick ass! I love the vocals. It was a perfect fit for the Marathon VLOG. And I know I have said it before, but I can not get enough of “The Best Years of Our Lives”. pun intended I think I have to see a doctor. These Dad jokes are getting to be too much.
Seriously though, I love that song. I like how their voices rise and fall to a whisper and waltz. Don’t you love how they switch to the waltz tempo for a couple of beats? Every song sounds great. I think the audio quality of these albums is out of this world.
Have a great weekend!
Stay groovy,
JP
