My wife always says she likes Lola better, because it is easier to understand the lyrics. High five to the recording engineer(s).
It’s one thing for an artist to cover a song and attempt to sound exactly like the original, but when they can modify it to match their style and still convey all of the subtle nuances of the original, bravo. Talk about a run on sentence? For example, when I listen to MLT’s version of She’s Leaving, my mind hears violins where they should be.
No, I do not think it is sacrilege to like a cover better. I think it is about the highest compliment one can bestow on an artist. It must be pretty exciting for the team,”Your version of this song is way better than the Kinks, Beatles, Who”…wow, pretty kool.

That is a lot of smiles. For every million views there are millions of smiles, not to mention gazillions of goosebumps.

Hi Jeff,
I noticed the views were climbing up pretty quick right after it was posted
I just clicked 47,771 – in how many days? Very impressive. It is an awesome video. Mona’s singing sounds just right for this song. Lisa’s la la la’s remind me of
the children’s choir in Sweet Lorraine. I love it. The harmonies are perfect.JP

I was listening to Duo Sessions on the way home tonight and I was caught off guard when Here Comes The Sun rolled into Good Day Sunshine. My CD player is on constant replay, so this happens once in a while. When an album ends, I usually switch to a different CD, but there is something about this sequence that works. This is also kool with Orange. Still A Friend Of Mine ends, and it’s The Future.
A good album is one that gets engrained into your psyche to the point of the slightest little difference can rock the boat. So put one on shuffle and see if you hear any kool sequences.
And now for a disclaimer: In no uncertain terms am I suggesting that the MLT albums be played in a different order. They sound best(perfect) in the order they were created.

Hi Stephen, I noticed No. 2 the other day. I blamed it on my crappy ISP buffering, but if you are experiencing the same issues perhaps it could be something else?

Hi Daniel,
Welcome to one of the koolest places in the world. It sounds like you had a great musical connection with your brother. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you can find some peace here. There is a lot of positive energy in this forum. MLT fans are awesome.
There is more here than meets the eye. You can trace MLT’s journey back to the beginning. It’s like watching a Rock&Roll Dream in real-time. Have you checked out the Jukebox?
I am in upstate NY. Woke up to 6*F this morning. I can’t remember who said this,”A brave man faces the storm head on, but a wise man knows when to come in out of the rain.” It sounds like a good day for inside activities accompanied by good music.
Have a great weekend!
