Thanks for the kool pick!  That makes three now.  The CD case looks awesome.  I love the pictures of your guitars on the discs.   The whammy bar looks 3-D, oh ya, wrong glasses.  They look really kool.  It reminds me of the old school album sleeves.

I think the neighbors need to hear how great you sound. 😉  tomorrow

Now everyone take a close look.  This is definitely the koolest copy of Live At the Cavern Club.  Just look at those autographs.  Perfect.

    Thanks ladies,

    JP

Hi Charlie, welcome to the club.  There are a lot of friendly faces here who share your new found love for the MonaLisa Twins.

I am from upstate New York.  I found the twins by clicking on their Duo Session of “Wish You Were Here”.  After that I dove feet first into the koolest rabbit hole ever.  There is a lot to see and hear.

Have you seen the Skydiving video?  These daredevils went Skydiving on their birthday and documented it on video with an amazing soundtrack.  If you have not seen it, click Specials and then Out & About.

As I am typing, their cover of “The Best Years of Our Lives” is on the TV.  Their vocals are so powerful on this one, it’s got this fresh faced imbecile grinning ear to ear.

I agree with you, “That’s Life” is very clever.  Orange is a true masterpiece that demands to be listened too beginning to end.

Have you seen “Bus Stop”?  It’s hilarious and Mona shows off some really hip dance moves.

    Clickety-click

Hey Joe, have you ever played “Seamus” with a dog in the room? It’s fun to watch the dog react to the howling in the song.  The same thing will happen during the interlude of “Dogs” off the “Animals” album.

Here is an old Pink Floyd song from their 1971 album “Meddle”.  It is a beautiful song.  I just found this video someone made that captures the mood of the piece and a lot of the symbolism of the lyrics.

‘This album was before Dark Side of the Moon when the band was really on their game.  Unfortunately their success created a lot of personality conflicts    that still go on.

Put in your earbuds, headphones for Jacki, and enjoy.  This video is lovely, but this one is also nice to listen  to when you close your eyes, open your ears and just breathe.

Boy Jacki, as soon as I saw the title of your post I thought of the alphabet shirt.   That is a kool one.

My favorites would be a toss up between the Lola ensembles and the Wish You Were Here outfits.  The Lola blazers are very groovy and fit the song perfectly.  I only wish I could get one?

Now go watch the Wish You Were Here session.  Mona looks like a seventy’s folk singer in that hat.  It was a perfect choice to frame her beautiful face.  And Lisa’s choker and pyramid necklace are a kool nod to Pink Floyd.  This session is one my favorites.

Mona in a hat – All About Falling InLove – The both pull of the seventies jean jacket look.

Everyone’s outfit in Still A Friend – Rudi was made for that tuxedo, and the girls’ dresses are so elegant.

We can’t forget their skydiving suits.

Hi James,  I live in upstate New York, about two hours north of NYC in the Catskills.  There is a lot of exploring to do here.  I’ve been here for a few months and I am still finding new gems.

As Joe pointed out, the Cavern videos are awesome.  I would like to recommend you go to Specials – Out and About – and watch the Skydiving video.  It has some great footage with an awesome soundtrack.  Everything here is awesome.

We are all looking forward to receiving the new double cd of the Cavern Show.  One benefit of membership to this groovy club is that you can stream everything through the Jukebox.

Have you found the Duo Session of “She’s Leaving Home”?  It’s one of my favs.  There is also a radio show where they did that song.  The stripped down version is amazing.

This forum has a lot wonderful people here from here, there and everywhere.

Those damn earwigs!  I listened to “She’s Leaving Home” from BBC Radio Merseyside – Liverpool plays Pepper – Radio Interview last night and could not stop humming it all day today.  Not that that’s a bad thing.

”Nothing Is In Vain” is one that sticks in my head for awhile after I listen to it.  I love the outro with Lisa’s soulful singing.

Those MLT earwigs are here to stay, not that that’s a bad thing

I agree Bill.  Listening in the car is like an open invitation to sing along.   They both can sing the high notes.  On my way home singing along with Both Sides Now, I think I strained a muscle I didn’t even know I had.

I agree, Bill.  This could possibly be my favorite MLT song.  I have noticed that when singing the chorus, “see” and “me” are smiles.  As you sing these words, your face is starting a smile.  Coincidence?

As time will go by, you’ll see

you can always count on me

Lisa and Mona’s vocals are perfect here.  They create a warm somber vibe that draws the listener into a permanent smile.  I feel safe saying this song leaves me feeling very safe and content at the end 😉

It actually has a very paternal feel to it.  Did someone say Rudi contributed to this?

    IIF – 1,997,291

    ISHST – 1,962,015

This is great.  There is so much to see in IIF, it kinda demands to be watched again.  I love all the scenes superimposed over each other.
