Even the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. Thanks for all of your efforts, David. Your results are always very interesting. I think you answer a lot of questions swirling through our minds as we watch the videos. Like, why aren’t more people watching them?

And thanks for being our resident MLT Statistician. Or does this sound better?

    Totally agree

When the ladies said there were only a few left I wondered why we didn’t already have one. I think we might frame it to hang on the wall. Rare indeed. We like that this one is so Orange 🧡

I think the first MLT original I checked out was Once Upon A Time. Who are these girls? They sound amazing. After that I dove down every MLT rabbit hole I could. After a couple of dead ends, I soon discovered there were more treasures to be revealed in the club. Here we listened and learned all about them. And then we listened some more.

As we got to know more of the MLT story it was only natural to start participating in the club. I truly believe that the charm of our hosts attracts the grooviest fans. Trickle down grooviness if you will. Lisa and Mona’s interaction with us is just amazing. We always feel like like we are sitting across the room from them during the Friday videos. And the Advent Calendar videos are almost addictive. Once it begins it becomes part of the daily routine. When it ends…withdrawl. But that is quickly replaced by new music, early access, new duo sessions, new introductions to old music, and all kinds of adventures from Skydiving, running marathons, to wildlife rescues.

We’ve been a little AWK lately, but we are checking in. As Mona has said, they have created a very unique community here of some very special fans. We enjoy checking in to see what everyone is up to. Oh ya, I gotta show you guys something.

Jung, I do not recommend driving or operating heavy machinery while listening to Dreams. I find that song good for inducing sleep. I am basing this on personal experiences. Screeching brakes do not accent this song at all. Why? is great for any activity like skiing, running, or just watching grass grow.

    MLT Joy featuring Why?

I finally got to go skiing this winter. Life gets in the way sometimes. But yesterday was a near perfect day. With plenty of snow left over from last week’s storm and predictions of mild March temperatures I set out for the mountain. Following my new tradition the first ride up was accompanied by Walking In The Air. This is becoming a surreal experience watching the skiers below and noticing little syncs as the skiers appear to be moving in time with the music playing in my earbuds. As I get off the lift I am compelled to restart the song. It’s one of my favorites on my Ski List. The driving guitar rhythm is perfect. At 8:00 am it was still a little chilly. It had rained a little the day before, so the snow was fast and crispy. Nice! My first run was filled with goofy smiles as I passed children in imaginary races. Later in the day I was reminded I wasn’t twenty any more when I was trying to keep up with some millennials. Time to board the next lift and select the next song. This next run will be a little longer. A lot of the times I just press play and let things happen, but I have an album of new music to test drive and it’s early. Time to Make Show. That bass line and pulsating rhythm got the adrenaline flowing so again as I coasted off the lift I had to start the song over. Holy crap, this song is perfect for skiing. The whole album is. But Make Show is a perfect to get the blood flowing, although it could have been four or five cups of my favorite coffee on the drive up. No, that is my base line, it was the awesome music that had me on high energy mode. I had a great day listening to Why? and a lot of Orange, and…don’t you love Lisa’s guitar licks on the rap part at the end of Make Show. The sun broke through after lunch, so it was time for Destination Sunrise for a few runs. Awesome, this album is so kool. Looks like that was my one and only day out this winter, but it was a groovy one MLT indeed.

Tired of Waiting is a great sample of Mona’s vocal range. I love the a cappella intro. Not everyone can pull that off. After it finished Here Comes the Sun began. How ironic, as this is another sample of Mona’s vocals. Harmonic genius

    Hi Kevin,

Welcome to the grooviest club on the internet. There are a lot of rabbit holes here where you will find treasure after treasure. Friday’s video of the birthday surprise gives a quick glimpse of this loving family of four who are creating these treasures. Their behind the scenes videos are of the same caliber as their musical productions – Fantastic. The Out & About videos are fun and all have kool soundtracks. And of course there’s covers, originals, Duo Sessions, and more to follow.

My first step was their cover of Wish You Were Here. I love their harmonies.

The dance scene was kool when the characters in the mirror were interacting. The wallpaper at the end reminded me of the pigeons. I also heard a lot of Why?s.

    Glad you liked it.

Thanks for this Hammond History. Wow, a lot of it was about profit? David Gilmour featured Steve Winwood playing the Hammond on his 1984 solo album About Face. The solo at the end reminds me of Lisa and Rudi. This is called Blue Light. She’s a blue light – think of a police car’s blue lights.
