MLT’s Please Mr Postman has amazing pull! Just watched the video again tonight, and it’s absolute magic. Mona and Lisa’s harmonies are perfection. 3.8 Million views, on it’s way to 4.0 Million in short order.
John, Paul, George, Ringo and Karen, your versions were awesome, but I’m sorry Mona and Lisa leave yours in the dust! 😜

Hi Thomas
We are all so blessed to have found MLT in our lives. Their gift is the way they can touch each of us in such a positive way with their music. They do indeed make the world a better place with everything they do.

Hi JP
I know what you mean, MLT joy indeed. These days I love getting in my car, not because of the neck snapping torque of a burbling V8 I use to love, but because I can listen to WHY? behind the wheel which is even better. It’s very rare and special to have an album like WHY? where you can love every single song on it. It’s so wonderful isn’t it. It’s the sound track of my life these days, as I am sure it is for us all.

I haven’t seen this Beatle live performance in it’s entirety before, found one with enhanced video that looks and sounds great. The Beatles didn’t need any special costumes, stage theatrics or effects, they just had incredible vocal and musicianship talent, mated to their lovable personalities that made their performances second to none. MLT are exactly like that too.
Ringo’s talent as a drummer really shines here, and Paul’s vocal depth and power at the end comes through in spades. Ringo’s drumming and singing remind me of a young Mona on the drums doing Twist and Shout, just fabulous.
No one captured the power of music to the level the Beatles did in the 20th Century.
ROLL OVER BEETHOVEN indeed!!!

The Eagles seem very protective of someone covering their song without realizing it is honouring their music. If it weren’t for MLTs cover of Hotel California, I probably would not have gone back and listened to that song for decades unless I happened to hear it on the radio, but that is unlikely because I only listen to news and talk programming on the radio as current crop of canned popular music has no appeal to me. Lesser known treasures like Hey Bull Dog and Junk would have been lost to me forever.

Chris Farley is good David, a hilarious spoof on high anxiety.

Hi Jurgen, HAHAHA, good one. it looks like the Fab Four is returning from a day at the beach in this scene, and they picked up a friend along the way.

Thanks Tom for that detailed explanation about Paul’s death rumour. Now I understand your Art Lampoons life phrase. The 2+2 = 22 logic happens a lot to perpetuate a rumour or conspiracy theory in the world.

What a groovy cool photo Dave! I bet you didn’t know then Mona and Lisa would be right at that very spot a year later.

Thanks Tom, Glenn is well and we already talked about doing another travel adventure in the future some time. He talks about our old California road trips, no air conditioning, and doing it again. We’ll see.
DO IT AGAIN.

Hi Steve
Well said, couldn’t agree more. WHY? deserves more recognition in the music world indeed for the masterpiece it is. In the Rick Beato videos he says if Stair Way To Heaven or many of the classic masterpieces were released today, they would go unnoticed by a general public that has lost it’s way with music. I feel an awakening and appreciation for good music is on it’s way, and MLT will be leading the pack.

Hi Steve
LOL, you are right, a lurker just doesn’t sound nice. There is that Simon and Garfunkle song, I’d rather be a hammer than a nail, in the same vain, I’d rather be a producer than a lurker! 😜 Kidding aside, there is nothing wrong with just reading and exploring the forum posts. One of the fulfilling aspects of posting in the MLT forum, is also having an audience who might appreciate what you post.
And indeed, MLT Club and forum is like a retreat amongst friends, with much respect and kindness to share our passion for MLT.

Thanks Tim! It is true isn’t it, the longer we are blessed with living we end up losing a lot of the people we love. That sentiment reminds me of the closing quote in MLT’s Neve video. “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” One of the lessons of love is being able to let go.

Hi Chris
That 1% rule is quite interesting, and appears to be true. I kind of feel honoured to consider myself in the 1%! 👍😊 Maybe at the MLT Club we can be the exception and increase that %.
