Congrats to Mona and Lisa.
The other great thing is their youtube views are rapidly accelerating too with a number of their other songs having surpassed the 1 Million mark or about to reach it very soon (ex San Francisco). While My Guitar Gently Weeps took some 6 or 7 years to reach the first million, but the 2nd million flew by in a matter of several months I think. The same with their total youtube views. 10M to 24 million took a very short time to reach compared to the first 10 Million. I think their youtube views trajectory is approaching an exponential curve!

I don’t think we have to worry.
All of us here are very lucky to have come across the MonaLisa Twins at this particular point in time when they can remember us each by name and communicate with each of us personally as they do in a family atmosphere. But I would be very happy if their fan base explodes one day soon, and their music can touch millions and millions of people across the globe because they deserve it and the world needs to be touched by MonaLisa Twins wonderful music, like we all here have been blessed with.
I will be just happy and thankful to have been a part of their journey in the early days and hopefully when they are legends, they will remember all of us here today with the same affection we have for them. Being the caring and wonderful people Mona and Lisa are, I have no worry about that.

It’s one of my favorite songs off that album right up there 2nd only to The Wide Wide Land for me. Brilliant video, brilliant song writing.

Hi Howard. A real pleasure to meet you too!
One of the other great things about the MLT Club in addition to being able to express and enjoy our passion for MLT and their music, is meeting nice people like yourself from around the world. Australia is one of the places high on my list I would like to see one day as it is literally on the opposite side of the planet from where I am in Vancouver BC Canada. I think it would be such a different world there with completely different climate, geography, animals, plants etc.

Howard. Thanks for the bed time belly laugh! 🙂

Hi Howard. I totally agree with everything you said, and I think Alone would make a great idea for a future video as its such a delightfully sweet song.

Holy smokes Mona and Lisa! Ive listened to this song on your 2007 Concert CD for over a year noticing just how beautiful and charming it was whenever I got to the end of the album, but had no idea it was one of your originals! I am super pleasantly surprised and also embarrassed too for never noticing that. I guess I just never looked on the back of the CD to see who the artist was. Im surprised there isnt a video on youtube for it. You never cease to amaze me, in a wonderful way, even after a year of listening to every one of your songs. 🙂

Hi Howard.
You cite some great examples. Mona and Lisa have on many occasions in their posts on social media expressed their on going appreciation of people from their past like Australia, growing up in Austria, their trips to the US etc, and memories of loved ones as so beautifully expressed in the The Wide Wide Land.
I think Mona and Lisa’s bond is remarkably strong that they will never split to pursue solo careers. I really like this picture of them that says a ton about their love and support for each other.

My favorite Beatle was Pete Best. He was so good he broke up with the band early to pursue a solo career.
