Hi Michael,
I havenāt really seen much of my natural hair color since I was hmmm ⦠14 I think? I could trace back the āredā origins to when we were about 12 and both got to dye a little streak of hair after a particular good report card I believe. Part of it was to help our teachers at school be able to tell us apart more easily. If you watch this video and stop at 2:04 you can tell what colour each of us picked š https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRZTW2iMkD0
The beginning of Mona – blonde, Lisa – red. From then you could say it got a bit out of hand š
Iāve been playing around with different shades etc and recently got back to a bit more of a darker, natural look. Who knows what will come next. As to my reasoning behind choosing red – Nothing besides that I simply like how it looks š

Hey John,
Itās nice to welcome you ON Australia Day! There are quite a few Australians here in the Club, some more active in the forum than others, but each day we have quite a lot of website hits from your side of the planet. Oi oi oi! š
We loved the time we spent in Adelaide for student exchange. So many great people, great community, great scenery. Whatās going on with the fires is harrowing!! We hope all your friends and family are safe ā„Thanks for all the kind words and we hope youāll enjoy your time here in the Club.
Stay groovy!

We are focusing on new original music in 2020 but will definitely keep on recording covers too. So you can expect more releases and CDs to come š
Haha, what a great Woodstock story. Of course youād be upset that they made it free after charging you. Funny how the whole meaning and mythos of the festival only grows with each passing year. I see you already found our blog post about it! š Thanks for sharing the picture of your ticket. What a piece of history!
We hope youāll enjoy your time here at the Club ā„
See you around,Lisa

Oh, thatās one and the same guitar š What might be a bit confusing is that I play it without the pickguard attached – the grey-ish piece of plastic right below the pick-ups. I think it looks cool without, so I removed it, which probably made you think it was a different guitar.
And to confuse you even more ⦠I recently thought about putting it back on š
We do have other Gretsches … a vintage Tennessean that I only play in the studio and a black Country Gentleman that I played in the āSnow Falls Softly At Nightā video for example. It has a beautiful, rich and mellow tone, lots of character too but itās a bit of a chunky build for me to use as my āeverydayā guitar. Which is why I think my Duo Jet is so perfect. It ticks all the boxes!
Thanks for the question and I hope I solved a mystery here š

Administrator25/01/2020 at 19:30 in reply to: Ringtones? I like it when the phone rings now……I remember we did think about that at some point but came to the conclusion that since you can select any song you want as your ringtone on most phones these days, there wasnāt much we could offer extra.
But we could pick out and cut together the best suited parts of songs, provide some instructions on how to set it up, etc. ⦠yeah, weāll put it on our āpossible projectsā list!
Oh, and what a cool story about Lindsey Stirlingās producer! Hope they enjoyed the CD ā„
Thanks for spreading the word ⦠one phone call at a time š -
Hi Brian,
Never owned a Jaguar and never had the chance to try one either, unfortunately. It seems like a perfect guitar to get that surf sound, especially with that high-pass filter switch so I can see why you like yours so much. Iād love to try one but Iām scared that if I tried and loved one, I might try, love and buy one š ⦠I am very happy with the guitar collection we have but it might be a fun one to add to the collection later down the line š -
We were truly lucky to catch that on video as it hasnāt snowed here since. We werenāt planning on filming that day at all, but we were out for a run and later sitting at breakfast with friends when we looked out the window and decided to rush home to capture the crazy snowfall on camera.
And youāre right, thatās our cousin when he was still a baby. He was such an adorable, beautiful child ā„ And now heās turning into a handsome young man whoās taller than us. Crazy how fast that seemed to happen š

I think itās easiest to simply refer you to this post ⦠Why Orange? https://test4.monalisa-twins.com/why-orange/
Weāre happy to hear that the CD arrived safely with you š Happy Listening! -
We must not have been good enough šĀ ⦠I did forget to brush my teeth that one time, dammit ā¦

Hi Rick!
You are right, we completely re-recorded the song from scratch. The live version from the Cavern Club was Christmas fun for that day but as you can tell by our voices weāve been quite ill with a cold. Also, we didnāt want to have just one live performance on theĀ CHRISTMAS album but all proper studio productions with all bells and whistles. Quite, literally ⦠we added some bells and even a marimba. š
Have a great day!

Administrator07/01/2020 at 10:39 in reply to: Fave Go To Clothing You Luv In Your closet?!Ohh, thanks Jacki. Ever since we discovered Charity shops here in the UK, our wardrobe has been changing pretty frequently. We love hunting for little treasures and vintage clothes and often give away stuff weāve been holding on for a while or already wore in some videos and pictures. Just to keep it interesting and fun š So there arenāt many go-to items Iād wear time and time again, except my favourite slouchy clothes I always wear around the home.
I have a Beatles Jumper for example that I bought back in 2009 when we visited Liverpool for the first time that I canāt get myself to throw away, despite the many holes and tears itās collected over the last 11 years.
2009 …

Administrator05/01/2020 at 23:04 in reply to: Lisa, I am amazed at you lead guitar work while you are singingI guess all I can say here is Thank You! Iām glad you notice and appreciate the little guitar embellishments and licks. Like you said, itās all down to practise and I am well aware that thereās a gazillion things I could be better at. But thatās journey and fun of playing any instrument š

Love, love, love him. We finally got to see him live last year, and the show was phenomenal. Intimate, entertaining, personal, and of course his playing was insane. He is one of the artists that influenced us the most when we first got into guitars as teenagers. Heck, we even got a Maton in the hopes it would make us sound a bit more like him š
A friend who saw his show got us this signed picture when we were recording the āWhen Weāre Togetherā album.

Hi Brian,
Itās funny, that is probably one, if not THE most suggested non-Beatles song we get. And for good reason, it is an incredible song. Weāve tried it with our band before and back then it didnāt work 100% so we havenāt revisited it since.
But I agree with you, we should probably give it another proper go at some point. Itās on our list and weāll think about it once we have room for new projects again š
