Hi John,
That’s an interesting topic, we’re glad to hear that you’d like to hear more background info to our original songs and the inspiration behind them.
We’ve never really done a song-by-song breakdown for our albums but we did a little Q&A video about the “When We’re Together” video just a few weeks ago, which you can check out here.
We’d love to do the same for ORANGE and of course our upcoming 3rd original album.
We’ll see what we can put together about it in terms of Club content and will keep your suggestion in mind. ✌️

Hi Detlef, thanks for the question and welcome to the Club!
Unfortunately we have only ever seen Paul and Ringo “live” when seeing them in concert and haven’t had any direct contact so far.
We have known Paul’s brother – Mike McCartney – for some years now but aren’t sure if that means that Paul knows what we’re doing. Paul’s ex publicity chief told us he invited him to one of our shows but god knows if that was actually true.
Olivia and Dhani seem to manage George Harrison’s social media pages, on which they have already shared one of our videos, so we think they’re aware of us and Sean Lennon knows us too, so does John’s half sister Julia. 🙂
A friend of Ringo has already shown him our videos and allegedly got good feedback on them.
All that being said – we haven’t met either of the two personally, but who knows, maybe one day we will. Of course we would be thrilled!German Translation:
Hi Detlef,

Administrator26/10/2021 at 23:19 in reply to: What is your favourite pop/rock music film? Why?Oh, that’s a good question. Of course, all the Beatles movies, especially “A Hard Day’s Night’ hold such a special place in our hearts ♥ We were obsessed with them in our teenage years! 😉
We also love “Across The Universe” which is a beautiful romantic drama based on Beatles songs that to us is such a beautiful piece of art.
Quadrophenia and School Of Rock are two other films we loved growing up with. We also thought the recent movie “Yesterday” was a really adorable, fun project that stuck with us for quite a while.
I guess we can’t really pick a favourite, they all have different things going for them, plus we’re not big movie buffs, so there are a lot of “classic” music movies that we still haven’t seen.

Hello Rick!
Oh the infamous instrument swap in “Hey Bulldog” 😉
I’m not sure if we ever recorded that on video properly. I do remember seeing clips of it somewhere but I think those were taken by an audience member (with their phone).
We might have filmed it on camera sometime, but at the moment we have so many other projects that we won’t really have the time to look through the archives. Unfortunately.
If we ever find anything of decent video quality, we’ll consider posting it. 🙂

We wish we did that! But we didn’t know of Melanie’s song yet during our short-lived roller-skating career from the age of ~ 6-10 ;-D
We only got into her music later down the line but “Brand New Key” is definitely one of our favourites by her now ♥ -
Hi Bill, Hi Maddie!
It looks like we’re a little bit behind you guys 🙂
The leaves have only just started to change now and we’ll give it another 2 weeks before we will see the maximum autumn colour spectacle. But it’s one of the prettiest seasons around here, especially if you get out of town. Too bad that it also means that the temperatures are dropping and that winter is coming, brrr …
Unfortunately, the beautiful autumn scenery is normally rather short-lived here as the usual UK rainy weather likes to quickly turn the colourful leaves into brown mush 🙁
But we’re so glad that Maddie gets to enjoy the season and play in the leaves. We just googled “Pittsburgh fall season” and the photos that came up looked absolutely gorgeous.
Enjoy the sweater weather ♥

Hi John!
It would be fun to do another Byrds cover eventually, making use of our 12-string Rickenbacker. We’ve considered it for past Duo Sessions but so far it hasn’t made the cut yet 😉 I’m sure we’ll think about it again in the future! “I’ll Feel A Whole Lot Better” would be a good candidate! -
Hi Brad!
When we first got into vinyl a few years ago, The Guess Who’s “American Woman” was amongst the first records we picked up at a charity shop! They are a great band and we just listened to “Bus Rider” for the first time. That was a fun trip, we loved the guitar licks! I also know what the soundtrack for the rest of my day will be now … 😉
We are grateful for your support this past year and completely understand your decision not to renew if you don’t have the time to make use of the MLT Club 🙂 You will of course be welcomed with open arms if you ever decide to pop back in. You can always just join for a month here and there if you’d like to catch up with what’s happening from time to time. Whatever works for you!
Thanks for the kind words to all of us, we send you all the best!

Haha, that was a poll we did during last year’s Advent Calendar. Mona and Michaela were team “raisin” and Dad and I were “anti-raisin” (with Dad being the real extremist of the group 😉 ).
We’re all very cool with nuts, but my favourite would be pecans. Lately I’ve been stuffing dates (100x better than raisins) with pecans for a little sweet snack. Add a glass of milk … heaven!
As much as Mona and I love mixing sweet and savoury foods (Pizza Hawaii is the best and nobody can convince me otherwise), mixing tuna and raisins seems wild. But we’re happy to try everything once 😉
We hope you’re doing fabulous and we once again say thank you for your recent donation!

Hi Walter,
Yes, that’s a classical nylon string guitar I played on Time Of The Season. I doubled up the solo so it is me playing several tracks on top of each other. I thought it added an interesting touch to the whole thing.I couldn’t remember what electric guitar (no acoustics) we used for the rhythm part on “White Room” so I had to open up the recording session. So … The rhythm parts were played on the trusty Gretsch Duo Jet, not the Rickenbacker. Mona played the drums on the song which I remember her enjoying a lot. She loves Ginger Baker!
I recorded the lead parts on a Fender Strat and used a Wah effect setting from my boss GT-8 pedal. It was fun to revisit that song just now. Since it isn’t on YouTube it’s been quite a while since I last heard it. It was such a cool song to play 🙂

Hi Jeff,
Thanks, we’ll consider it! We try to get the balance right between posting to YouTube regularly but also keeping Club content exclusive as a “thank you” for everyone’s extra support. It is tricky to navigate that line sometimes but we do our best. We’ve still got plenty of videos planned for the rest of the year for both the MLT Club and the channel and can’t wait to share them with everyone! -
Hi Thomas,
Since Dad is the main bassist in the house, we’ve passed this question on to him 🙂 -
We’re glad you liked the pictures! Many of them were taken with the camera you sent us for our Birthday ♥ It’s perfect for these little adventure trips. Again a huge Thank You.
We are definitely more avid hikers/outdoorers now in comparison to our younger selves (especially our teen version) but there are still many incredible trips and times we spent in nature when we were younger.
Some of my favourite childhood memories are from the time we spent driving around places like Croatia or Corsica in our Camper Van with Dad and later also Michaela ♥ I especially remember being absolutely spellbound by the beauty of Corsica and all the amazing, sometimes hidden little spots that Michaela introduced us two (she had been there prior). The wild lakes and rivers we jumped into, the waterfalls and woods and amazing sunsets we would watch from the roof of our car.
Some summers we also would stay with our grandparents in the countryside. Michaela’s parents owned a little hut in the woods where we spent the summers biking and playing with our friends from sunrise to sunset. We would also spend many holidays at extended family’s farms and always loved getting dirty and playing outside with the animals.
As for hikes, one of the most memorable ones would have been the trip we took with Michaela’s parents to Eastern and Southern Tyrol where we spent many days hiking the incredible Alps and Dolomites. We posted some photos of it in the MLT Club a while ago: https://test4.monalisa-twins.com/osttirol-photo-post/
Nature is adventure and will forever play a big part in our lives ♥

Hi Tim,
Of course, that was one of the first things our host families made us try when we arrived in Australia 😉 I initially thought it tasted horrendous … bitter, salty, slightly fishy … but after eating it “correctly”, with lots of butter on toast, it started to grow on me. Soon I was making myself Vegemite sandwiches for lunch! Heck, I’ll actually make myself one right now, it’s been ages since I had one, and we still have a little jar that an Aussie friend brought us on a visit. -
Hi Roger,
We saw your question here. First off, a big thank you for wanting to send us something for Christmas! We consider ourselves very lucky ducks!
Knowing how long some parcels have taken during the height of last year’s holiday chaos, you’re definitely safer off sending it sooner than later. We don’t mind holding on to the parcel for a bit but maybe leave a little note like “don’t open till Christmas” on the outside of the package so we don’t accidentally have a sneak peek 😉
And we’re sorry that you somehow ended up on a test page, it’s something that shouldn’t have happened. We have a few test pages to fix bugs, test out new features etc. so we can only imagine the confusion of suddenly ending up in a slightly different version of our homepage where half the functions are disabled. We are looking into it right now to make sure this won’t happen again!
Thanks again and have a groovy day.
