I think you’re right about the June video. They wanted a “rain” shot, but it didn’t fit with the outdoor theme of the rest of the video. But it was perfect for “Two of Us”.
Jacki, I once had identical twins in a college math class I was teaching. It seemed prudent for me to learn how to distinguish them, so I quickly noticed that one had three piercings in each ear while the other only had one. Later I noticed that one had five freckles on one of her arms in the shape of a W (like the constellation, Cassiopeia). Mona, as I am sure you know has a mole/freckle near her left eye, and Lisa has one on her right cheek. Unfortunately, I don’t know when these developed and I can’t see them in their pre-teen videos. I do think you are right that once I am more familiar with their other facial features I should be able to figure out who’s who in those early videos.
Anybody else been watching them grow out their hair and wondering what they are planning.

I know what you mean, Jung. I’m pretty clueless on who is who until they’re rolling on the grass. Do you know if the scene where Lisa is pouring water on top of Mona holding an umbrella is in one of the their videos?

In about a month I’ll think I’ll start a new thread with the countdown (up) to 2M views for “If I Fell”. My current projection is for it to reach that mark on Halloween.

Yes! That’s it. Thank you. My google searches came up empty.
Now look at “All About Falling In Love” and tell me why there’s a Manfred Mann album there instead of their own “When We’re Together”.

Yeah, JP, that jump caught me off guard.

I got distracted by my wife asking me a question

One of my personal favorite MLT videos (I love the home videos showing them growing up)

999,904. “Bus Stop” should hit 1M views by 8:00 P.M. BST.

Hey, Bill,
Being able to watch the finger (and hand) mechanics of both twins is one of the things that makes their videos so fun to watch. “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” is one of my favorites, in addition to “Wish You Were Here”. Even “Bus Stop” has some fun sequences and I love the expressions on Mona’s face. And then there’s “Johnny B Goode”. If I have any complaint about the MLT videos since their first concert, it’s that they haven’t shown Mona singing while playing the drums (or even some extended clips of her playing). “Twist and Shout” shouldn’t be her only singing drummer video, in my opinion. But that’s just a very small complaint.

999,550 at 4:00 A.M. BST. I’m afraid “Bus Stop” will hit 1 M during the night (in the midwest on America) while I am asleep, but the Twins should be awake a watching when it happens.

Coming down the home stretch: 998,801
Less than 24 hours away?

I drove from California to Wisconsin in 1974 with this song playing frequently on the radio:

Hey, Jung, yes, I’m very familiar with Northern Exposure and I remember that episode. Chris was always good for challenging deep thinking. Remember when he flung the piano?
By the way, the “Stairway to Heaven” ban is mostly a joke attributed to the movie “Wayne’s World”. I say “mostly” because, apparently some Music stores do ban guitar players from playing that riff (or just give them dirty looks).

This one is banned from many music stores (good thing “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” isn’t banned)

Although I found this thread shortly after I joined the club a few weeks ago, I totally missed it’s significance. This is the only Forum thread started by the one of the Twins (Lisa, in this case). Of course, every time they post a new video in “Club Music” that’s like starting a thread, so I guess there’s no need for their presence here except to respond to questions and welcome new members who introduce themselves. Still, anyone else want to see Mona start a forum thread?
