Start binge watching “I’ll Follow the Sun”, Jeffrey (and any other club members reading this). It’s still a couple weeks away, but it is closing in on becoming MLT’s 18th song to reach 1,000,000 views. “Hotel California” is slowly makin its way to that mark as well, even without the general U.S. population (It’s banned in the U.S., but some of us know how to circumvent the ban).
By the way, “You Can’t Do That” was the third fastest to reach a million (1 year, 10 days).

Secure VPN lets Americans watch “Hotel California” if you say your country is Canada (or Great Britain). Tell your friends to see if their virus software lets them turn on Secure VPN ( Norton 360 does).

“Both Sides Now” should hit 100,000 in a few more days.

Let me guess, Jung, “Come Together” and “Day Tripper”. Those were the only two I recognized. I should have got “Birthday” and “When I’m 64”. I’ll bet Lisa and Mona would do very well with this.

I read once that Lennon would frequently write the bridge for Paul’s songs and vice versa. It was just another part of the magic they could create together as a song writing duo.

Orange was my favorite color when I was a kid. Later it changed to green, but I still have a fondness for orange. Especially these days.

My son has “T SWIFT” on his plate. I currently have “ROHERYN” (horse given to Aragorn by Arwin in the book, Return of the King). I might consider changing to an MLT reference.

Member28/02/2021 at 18:43 in reply to: Is it sacrilege to like a cover more than the classic original?Bob Dylan is a brilliant song writer, but his voice grates on my wife’s nerves, so she much prefers covers of his songs much more than any of his originals. My point is that if you prefer a different singers voice then it stands to reason that you will like the cover more than the original. In MLT’s case, by covering songs that were mostly written my males singers, they add a female flavor to their covers that some (such as us) might find refreshing. Add to that their incredible talent with instruments and you have the perfect formula to produce covers that easily rival even The Beatles’ originals.

Lisa has one on her right cheek, but both of them didn’t develop these until adulthood (the one in Mona’s eyebrow might have been earlier). So it doesn’t help with the early childhood videos.

“Nowhere Man” will hit 100,000 YouTube views in a a couple hours. In just five days! I’m pretty sure this will be MLT’s fastest video to 100,000. “Postman” is still on pace to hit 1,000,000 in it’s first six months, but I predict that “Nowhere Man” will be close behind.

Actually I was asking about a new original video. Like releasing a single before you release the album. But I’m okay with a “surprise”, so you don’t have to answer that.
