I was about 80% sure that Mona did the pushing, but it is really hard to tell them apart at that age.

This begs the question: did anybody record that performance and where can we see it?

If you read the YouTube comments on MLT’s “Close to You”, you will see some people thought it was going to be a cover of the Carpenter song (written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David). Most were pleasantly surprised at what they found instead.

JP, Jung, I noticed that MLT responded to a YouTube comment made yesterday, so they must be watching the count as well.

Member06/02/2021 at 17:23 in reply to: If MLT visited your city, where would you take them !?The Henry Doorly Zoo. It is a surprising fact that Omaha, Nebraska is also the home of a world class zoo. It features one of the world’s largest indoor deserts. It is a great place to hang out in the middle of winter or in the middle of our humid summers. Our pedestrian bridge across the Missouri River would also be a fun stop. The Sumpter Amphitheater in Papillion, Nebraska, would be a great venue for them to perform if they wanted to take a chance on playing outdoors.

Pre 16, I’d pick “Hotel California”. Post 21, I’d pick “Wish You Were Here”. !6 to 21 it’s tough to call, but I think I’d go with “Catch the Wind”.

San Francisco is on track to hit 2,000,000 views sometime next week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday)
“Please Mr. Postman/Wipe Out” will pass 500,000 this weekend. It’s still on a pace to maybe reach a million views faster than “Wish You Were Here”.

Hey, Tim, if you haven’t already, you should check out the radio Interviews in the archives of this site. A lot of fun stuff in these including some songs that can’t be found on YouTube, e.g. “Help!” I’ve got one word to say the Twins about that particular song: Duo.
