I have some guitars at my office and some at home. And most of them in cases in the extra bedroom. So thats why there are several pictures, because everything is scattered. Now with that said, its time to dig some out of their cases and maybe take a few pictures.

Now here is the kicker Jackie. I cant play the guitar! As a matter of fact , I cant play anything but my Sirius/XM radio… 60’s only, The Beatles channel and Elvis channel. I started following Mona and Lisa several years ago , which for some reason led me to start collecting guitars. I’ve always been fascinated with them and don’t know why. Anyway, thats my story.

Tim ..Jung.. Jacki  it does seem like that that’s the obvious.  Or could it be the obvious may actually be financial .  I listened to a podcast last week the girls have done with Robert Rodriguez.  And basically in the hour and 20 minute conversation covered it  covered  10 years of the Mona Lisa twins .  And I’m thinking how cool would that be if Mona and Lisa have a Podcasts On a weekly/month basis.  I don’t know but it seems to me being able to talk to the girls would really be cool .  But hear again guys…. I may be talking out of turn cause I don’t know how difficult something like that can be.  I agree that being self-sufficient gives you 100% control of what  you do.  And sometimes I wonder if it  constricts how much you can do .  I really need help MLT  members  trying to figure out quite simply  how to see MLT start performing again .  And furthermore performing in the USA .  I know I’ve mentioned this in the past it Has to be  A financial strain .  I think I had mentioned earlier the reason for the MLT club  that it wasn’t needed just so they can continue doing what they were doing with YouTube videos …  and they even went so far as to letting us know doing an original song the cost could be a little more .  So please can somebody give me a direction how this plays out for future  directions .

Howard I think you may have something here .  Maybe we could throw in a little stem cell research along with it.  And please excuse me for assuming you’re being lighthearted on a realistic problem.  I could be wrong but one would assume that  Rudi  Who actually ran a recording studio/was a producer for however many years would know the pitfalls with record companies….  management companies/or promoters.  So my only observation Howard would seem to be there must’ve been some bad experiences in the past.  On the girls moving  to Liverpool they were on BBC radio on Saturday mornings for a long time actually performing live .  They managed to get a residency at the cavern club  performing roughly  performing 100 shows . My thoughts they were getting exposure for  stage experience to move forward for future shows .  Which led them on a 20 show tour of England with Steve Harley and cockney rebel .  And as they mention it was great experience .  Sorry Howard not to change the subject let me ask you a question some of their songs I think our incredibly good.  Do you think other artists that were a little bit more popular little bit more established singing those songs would be any different?  I hear stories now that a lot of  young artist had written hits for other artists  and after a while they  started performing there on music  and became pretty successful.  I’m wondering if that would be a consideration but I’m going to say probably not.  Bottom line … I want the girls Rudi and  Michaela to be able to come to the USA play small venues.

Hi Tim Im Max.  I agree with you and Howard about not being obligated to any other outside interest including record labels .  Far be it for me to  understand how any of that works so please bear with me on some of my concerns .  After 10 years of making videos  and putting them on YouTube for free has not been beneficial ….  actually it has but I don’t think monetarily .And I understand it was probably necessary for the exposure.  I love their two original CDs  because  I’m  a  throw back from the 60s and 70s .  And bottom line it’s Great music.  But it seems that the reason for the startup of the MLT club  even from an independent standpoint  it must be expensive to do what they do .  If I’m not mistaken they had given a breakdown roughly as to how much it takes to do an original YouTube video and a cover video .  And God only knows how much more it cost for the simple fact they do everything from changing guitar strings to writing music .  I know I sound like I’m just rambling on but believe me I will support the MLT club as much as I can for as long as I can .  Bottom line Tim…  I would like for them to visit the USA periodically where we can witness their talents live .  And I don’t know how that would be possible .

Hi Howard.  I certainly understand what you’re saying and maybe I have not done enough research, but I’ll do some more .  You read and hear about the horror stories of the 60s about record companies labels downright extorting the  Artist/bands .  Pretty much you were using their money so you did what they said they wanted you to do .  Even the Beatles or not I mean the tactics of back in the day .  I’ve heard stories after their first couple albums they had a week to produce a new album practice and record that had to be pressure .  Brian Epstein says we will not go to America until we have a number one hit .  I think the  December of 63 “Please Please Me” hit number one in France and as we all know February of next year they arrived.  Sorry didn’t mean to get off on a story that everyone knows I’m just worried if the twins are waiting for that to happen and or will it ever happen .  You mentioned that they were in Dublin and they got a call from Liverpool .  There must have been someone that saw something in them to make that call not sure .  I’m sure there are more  stories to the overall scope but I still think it’s a monetary issue .  Independent funding would be the only way I see for them to be able to come to America for short periods of time for us to see them play live . …. I know I bought Powerball tickets and mega million tickets last week but it didn’t work out  lol…  anyhow Howard enjoyed talking to you we just have to keep pushing and pushing

Hi  Thomas … I agree with you about having substantial airtime on the radio in the US.  On occasion I’ve heard Mona and Lisa do podcasts throughout the US and manage to get on a few college station/underground station .  And I don’t know about you but what I hear from the twins I really like can’t understand why nobody else would like them or play their music on Main Stream radio.  And really don’t want to go down this venue but it Has to be money it has to be if you’re not sponsored by a record label of sorts… just thinking out loud because it’s not that they’re not talent .

I’ve never heard of a harp guitar.  That sounds interesting .  But I think we all know the girls love their Rickenbacker/Gretsch guitar’s especially for there electric sounds … just recently on there ” i’ll follow the sun ”  video I noticed Lisa what’s playing what looked like an Epiphone Casino…  not sure .  But through the years when they use their acoustic guitars  I’ve seen different models ..  and not being a musician or even knowing how to play a guitar I’m sure that it all makes sense to them …
