Bonjour Jojo,
What a nice “hello” – thanks a lot, we’re happy to see you here!
Living in the alps must be beautiful and soothing for the soul. We grew up in the flattest part of Austria but spent our winters skiing in Salzburg, so we fell in love with the beauty of the mountains early on. We’ve not made it to France yet (other than driving through on the motorway) but we are sure it’s only a matter of time!
Thanks for deciding to support our music by joining the Club. We’re currently working on a couple of videos that are quite different to what we’ve uploaded here in the past, so the upcoming couple of months will be especially exciting for us 🙂
We’re always staying twinned … and try our best with the groovy 🙂 The same to you!

Thanks Brian!
I tried to emulate the string part at that point in the song. If you listen back to the original there is the same run happening, just played by different instruments.
By throwing in little things like that I feel it makes the songs that little bit more interesting to listen to. Sometimes I listen to fingerstyle arrangements of songs to get some good ideas.
My fingers are quite long so that comes in handy for using my thumb on the low E string occasionally. I first started doing that when learning John Mayer’s “Why Georgia” as a teenager. He uses his thumb on the left hand a lot so I got used to doing that, too!
As always, thanks for the kindness!

Thanks Paul!
We’ll see … At the moment I like it a little longer. Surely ,if I eat enough carrots and spinach I’ll catch up to Lisa, right? Wait what …
At the moment I enjoy being able to do things with it, like braid or curl it. It’s always easy to cut it off again so I’ll see how I’m getting on, or whether I feel tempted to reach for the scissors again.

Thanks Sergey!
Yup, the little dot is just a birthmark I’ve always had. The reason it appears to be on both sides of my face in the “Till There Was You” video is because we flipped (mirrored) the image sometimes to get a nicer frame composition. I didn’t think much about it but you are right, the dot gives it away 😉

Hi Tore,
We get that question a lot and we always appreciate people wanting to see us in concert. We will definitely get back on stage eventually but as you rightly assumed, it’s the new projects like the new album, videos (originals and covers), the Club, etc. that are currently taking up all our time.
If we want to tour again we want to make it the best tour possible and give it all the attention and preparation time it deserves. With everything else we want to accomplish in 2020, a tour is quite impossible to fit in but we will keep you all updated on any live shows we are planning in the future.
Thanks for all the kind words and we hope to see you at a gig some day!

Hi Tomás!
Dreaming fascinates me so much. It is such a mysterious and intriguing part of the human experience. Wouldn’t it be lovely to just wake up with the next “Yesterday” floating around in your head?
The best I could do so far was wake up to a note on my phone that read “Klammhatsche” … Apparently that’s the name of an eel-like animal I dreamed about. I dimly remember waking up in the early hours of the morning and typing that word into my phone so that later on I could check if I was making up words or if a “Klammhatsche” is an actual thing. Turns out I am discovering brand new animals in my dream adventures 🙂
Unfortunately, no chart toppers as of yet …

Hi Brian!
We love sibling harmonies as much as you do and acts like the Every Brothers, Andrews Sisters and the Beach Boys have been a big inspiration and great teachers throughout the years.
Harmonies have always been and will always be a huge component of what we do but we don’t shy away from solo vocals, if it fits the song. Looking back to our Cavern Club setlist for example, there are quite a few tracks that have very little harmonies in it, and either Lisa or I would take over the lead vocals. We would always be on the same stage and play together though.
Our own music, as well as the songs and bands we love the most, almost always use at least a small amount of harmonies so it is rare that we would ever pick something with absolutely zero other vocals. If it sounds better with some “ooohs” in the background, how could we resist! 😉
As you say, it’s fun singing with other people, especially those you love the most and I consider myself extremely lucky to have a singing partner and such a great friend in my own sister.
It’s great to hear that you could share that same experience with your brother!

Hello Brett!
Sorry that it took us a while to say hi but … hi!!! 🙂
Ever since we visited Australia in 2009 we fell in love with your country and are always thrilled to welcome new Aussies to the Club. Our heart was bleeding for all the wildlife and even human lives that were lost during the fires in the last few weeks and we are so relieved that things seem to have calmed down a bit.
We say a big Thank You for the kind words on our music, too! At the moment we are not playing any live shows but as soon as we start gigging again we’ll let you know through the newsletter, Club, Social Media pages etc. Would be great to see you at a show!
Keep playing and stay groovy!

Josh, this means more to us than we can express in words.
To know that our music can lift some darkness and bring a bit of light for those that need it is one of the most fulfilling reasons we’re doing what we’re doing. Thank you for sharing this with us ♥ We are thinking of your patients and send them our love and strength.
Many Thanks,

Since we have been living in the UK for more than 5 years we should be covered, as long as the annoying paperwork can be done successfully. We’re regularly keeping an eye on new developments but for now we’re OK, thanks 😉

It’s exciting for us to meet Giveaway winners here in the Club and we hope you’re having a good time! We love this place to connect with and learn more about the people that listen to our music, so thanks for popping in.
