I’m not a fan of Negative Harmony and using it on existing songs. To me it ruins what the composer wanted the song to sound like. A musician can easily understand the concept just looking at the circle of 5ths. If I tried playing the inverse chords and melody of an existing song, it would take me a long time to learn it and it would be pointless anyway. I guess I’m just not that smart or talented of a musician. It’s hard enough to learn some songs as they were written. Any examples of inverse chords, or “Negative Harmony”, of existing songs that I have ever listened to sounded terrible compared to the way the songs were originally composed. I listened to the example of “Help” by The Beatles you provided and it hurt my ears because I am so used to the original composition. Negative Harmony used on existing songs is a novelty and I don’t think many people would actually like it. Just my opinion.

I had that crud between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was rough going for a while and had to sleep in my recliner to stay elevated. But, all is well now except for the weather.
Tuesday Dec. 9th and Wednesday Dec. 10th we got Ice and snow. I saw videos of 18 wheelers on I-65,here in central Alabama, crashing into each other and off the side of the interstate. Yesterday morning the Dec. 18th, at 6AM it was 8deg. F and for tonight and tomorrow night they say 14deg. F or -10deg C. with daytime temps below freezing. Too cold🏂🥶 for the south! -
I finally got my pin today! I’m gonna keep mine in the package and put it on my MonaLisa 👱♀️👩🦰memorabilia wall in my music room along with all my other items. If I wear it, knowing me, I would probably loose it.

The pin looks really great! I got an email that my order for the 5 year pin shipped on Jan. 8. I ordered mine the first day on Oct. 16, 2023. I’m still waiting to receive it.

Thanks Jacki

I got my Calendar and Duo Session CD yesterday! love it!!!
To answer your question, I have seen Lisa usually wearing the ring on her pointer finger on her left hand. So, she may have taken the photo in a mirror because the ring is on her right hand in the cover picture. I could be wrong but I think the ring is on her left hand in the January photo.I am WRONG because the twins are wearing the same dresses in the Growing up in Austria Q&A post and the ring is not on Lisa’s left hand. Also, Mona’s hair is parted on the same side in the video as it is in the calendar photo. I assume the calendar photo was taken at the time they made the video.

I have the same problem. I sent a Message to them about this a week or more ago on FB and in the MLT Club but got no response. I don’t know how to find out anything about the FB issue.

Looking at your profile, it’s a shame you aren’t in Alabama with me. We have basically the same taste in music and I know most of the songs you mentioned for your show. I would love to play guitar🎸 in a band again. I thought I would take a challenge and learn a Dire Straits (Mark Knopfler) song “Sultans of Swing”. I find it fun to play.🎸
Hope you have a great concert🎹 at the Christmas event!🎶👍 -
I only use windows based software. I have been happy with the results I get, but I’m not doing anything professionally.

If you get a laptop, get a good one! I use a gaming computer for my music workstation. I had a HP laptop but it made a noise like a jet taking off which interfered with recording when using a microphone. Also, I have a 32′ monitor that is a must for me because the tracks are hard for me to really see on a small screen.

Hi Daryl,
I download music and videos of various people teaching how to play songs from YouTube. I usually take the mp3 of a song and separate the vocals, bass, drums and other instruments and import them into my DAW. That way I can mute tracks that I may not want to hear, such as the lead guitar so I can play the lead myself or play along with the lead. I also import the YouTube videos into my DAW because it’s easier to follow along with the person teaching the song or I import actual music videos so I can play along with them. I recently did that for “Landslide” so I could play along with Lindsey Buckingham and improve my Travis picking. Sometimes I record what ever I’m playing just to see if it sounds right. -
I do the same because they👱♀️👩🦰 deserve every penny!

Yeah, I would never pay $100 per month to anyone on Pateron even if I could afford paying that much. If it was me, I would rather have 10 patrons at $10 per month than 1 patron at $100 per month.

Hi Jung
