Wow Jacki you didn’t say Shawn Cassidy! I’m impressed! 😀

OK, for some reason, I thought we were just talking musicians. I guess it does say Pop Star. In which case…OMG…where do I start? I think number one would have been Kim Richards.

Of course! There are lots of sets available on popcolors.com but here is the direct link to the Beatles set:

ROFL. No. Once it’s posted I get an email, so I just wait for the email. I try not to poke around on the site too much or it’s down the rabbit hole I go and next thing I know I’ve lost half a day!

Hey Jim, good ones! I didn’t get into them until I was older, but had I been when I was younger I totally would agree. I also didn’t want to say it for fear of sounding like a creepy internet stalker, but were younger I, too, would be head over heels for one of our twins. I do know which one, but I’ll never divulge.

For me it was Susanna Hoffs. So hot, so talented, and a Rickenbacker to go with it!

So many great songs, so many could be made even greater by MLT. Lately I just can’t get what it sounds like in my head hearing MLT cover Pictures of Matchstick Men. I wondered if that had been suggested before, so did a search, and sure enough, Howard had proposed it, although it slipped by unnoticed (probably since there was no video). I would just die to hear them do it for real, but with their own spin. Maybe replace that twangy lead guitar with Mona’s harmonica. As it is, I’m really enjoying hearing them do it in my head. 😀

I really wish I had this year’s calendar, but it costs more to ship it than the calendar does itself, so I’m recycling last year’s as I don’t really use it as a calendar as much as the for the pictures anyway. When I was first getting to know them, I couldn’t tell them apart if it weren’t for the hair. Now I can look at pictures of them as kids and tell who’s who (usually). It’s amazing how much personality comes through even a still shot of a face. And how even the most identical twins aren’t really that identical once you get to know them.

I think most people have said at one point or another during the advent calendar, but you’d have to go back and read every last post to put it all together! LOL.
I was born and raised in Portland, OR, USA, and am still here (close enough) but have lived in Texas, Alaska, and Panama.

I was still in my previous life as a cat, I think. I didn’t get recycled as a human until 1968. LOL.

Excellent. Hope you all had a wonderful time!

Well said, Bill. The MLT Christmas livestream (and advent fun) is becoming the highlight of my year and best part of Christmas! Best wishes to you and Maddie and all your family, and everyone else in our extended MLT family!

That will go perfectly with lasagna. And maybe dirt, too. 😀

I have had it many times and it is pretty good for what it is. What it is is a bargain mid-quality wine way better than boxed and generic wines, but certainly not a fine vintage wine that you’ll see Wine Spectator raving about. But it is very drinkable and great value for the price. Contrary to Paul, I’m a red wine guy, but I also lean toward dry wines, and their Pino Noir and Cabernets are pretty good. Of course the key to enjoying any wine to its fullest is what you pair it with, so a lot depends on what you’re eating tomorrow night.
