A few very nice six-string banjos…two Deerings and a Recording Kind in the middle.  Deering makes very nice banjos for the money and play smoothly…

Sorry…never thought about the sideway view result…the one on the left is electron-i-fied…the same model played by Taylor Swift in her video “Mean’…also played by Kacey Musgraves in a few of her videos.

I guess I can only upload one image per reply.  I will offer more replies….I guess.  These are my “junk room” guitars.  Some very interesting guitars, mostly Godin guitars in this picture…an Ibanez jazz, and a Taylor.  All in pristine condition.  Probably have to downsize in the near future.

    Angelo,

Excellent information and I agree with the suggestion of giving much thought to the idea of changing the entire Bigsby hardware system.  I do not wish to decrease the value of the new guitar.  Good points about the internal differences between the Gretsch models.  I think that appearance-wise, the DSV and the Gallup are almost identical…and it is very difficult to locate a DSV these days.  I already made inquiries into just changing the arm.  If you have any additional input about that, I would welcome your thoughts.  I remain quite ignorant about what is involved in swapping out the arms, but it does sound like the way to go.  Again, thank you for such a detailed response.  Roger

It’s 5:00 a.m. in the morning and your comments had me sitting in my office and having a good laugh – what a way to start the day!  You got that right…and, I am reminded that today is my birthday.  How does a person forget to think of that first thing on his birthday morning!?!?!  Like you said…I am happy just to be here – 67 years young.  Where does the time go?  I already listened and watched a few of my favorite MLT YouTube videos…good way to greet the day, along with a big cup of java.

Thank you for the greeting.  I think I am going to like it here…the world needs more places like this to visit!  Kudos to, and thanks for, these young ladies for creating their music and opening this website where fans can mingle and get to know one another.

    Be well,

    Roger

    Angelo,

Great info.  Do you know if the new tremolo was a perfect fit on the jet duo, or were new holes drilled, etc?  I just purchased a Cliff Gallup Gretsch jet duo which is basically the same as the DSV model….with that fixed Bigsby.  I will want to switch it out.  Love the look of the Dusenberg Lisa opted to use.  Just curious if you know much about such work.  Obviously, with a brand new guitar, I want to do things right!  Thanks,  Roger

Perhaps I will post a photo of one per week…that should take me down the road a piece!  I am happy to be part of the group.  MLT is a very special and talented duo and group.  Love the bass lines in many of their songs (e.g. Africa), but do not play bass.  Stumbled onto their video, “Your Gonna Miss That Girl” and got hooked on their groove.  Nice chatting with you.  Roger
