I am glad that Lisa answered the way she did.
I think that the Carpenters were a little too cotton-candy for the Twins to cover.
But what a set of pipes Karen had.
Many of us still miss her.P.S.
On the other hand – i thought that Paint It Black was a little too dark for the Twins – but they did it well.Cheers Bill & Maddie

Vancouver is a very beautiful city.
Listening to music and watching the scenery is definitely the right way to get to work. -
Nice find Jung,
Great to see Annette Funicello standing.
God rest her soul. -
I had the same experience.
A post i made to the SugarMan thread disappeared.

I think this is true for a lot of us.

All of you contribute the the group vibe.
It would be very special anytime.
It’s sanity preserving during lockdown. -
Thanks, Bill.
That helps a lot.
The two electric guitars definitely have a different tone.
So is that a Rickenbacker playing lead lines on She’s a Woman like Jung says?
I am just wondering. -
I think they were more than watching Abby & John Lennon.
In my humble opinion.
But no-one is talking. -
I think Grace was escorted by Abby Hoffman.
I would sell my soul to be a fly on the wall.
But i think they got turned away at the door.I’m pretty sure that Abby was on everybody’s watch list by then.
God rest his soul. -
I never knew that much about that tragedy.
Richie Valens was only 17. Holly was 23. The Bopper was 18.
What a loss. -
Well,
did Ringo ever meet Grace when it would have mattered ?Other than the last concert being at Candlestick Park there’s very little about the Beatles in S.F.
I think they spent more time down in Brian Wilson’s neighborhood. -
OK. I here some lead guitar in the left speaker on She’s a Woman.
It has definitely been mostly lead in the right speaker and rithm in the right speaker,
just like they appear on stage. -
Is that another way to distinguish guitars – the guitar sound based on manufacturer … gretsch, rickenbacker, telecaster etc? I am really in the dark here.
