Just make sure the Twins know.
I don’t know how closely they monitor the General Discussion threads.
Good job !

Let the Twins know !
They link to covers of their originals.
They benefit.

Jung, you’ve done it again.
This topic just goes on and on.

Jung,
that’s what i was trying to say.
A song should be as long as the writer needs to say what he wants to say.
I especially like the Grateful Dead version of Desolation Row.
The Dead were never in a hurry to complete a song.
Then again they didn’t have too many songs on the radio. 🙂

Jung was making a point about a song fitting a length for a reason.
I had no idea the original constraint was the physical media (the 45), but now we know
Great research Jung, however …
Desolation Row by Bob Dylan 🙂

I might mention…
Carole King wrote “Crying in the Rain” w/ Howard Greenfield
This will connect with my next post

Damn Jung,
you opened the flood-gates with this one. 🙂

This doesn’t work.
You need to find the URL directly from youtube.

Hi Joseph,
I am referring to this. See the detail in show more

I am willing to believe that it’s someone’s joke.

Did anyone notice that the BeeGees wrote Don’t Bogart That Joint ?
That’s hard to believe. Look at the credits below in that video by Little Feat.
I could win bets.

What’s a Rock-n-Roll song without heartbreak & cheating ?
For that matter what’s a country song without heartbreak & cheating ?
I think it was that hip-shaking thing. Especially Elvis and Chuck Berry.
Have you noticed how fake the Jerry Lee Lewis video is ?
There are several glyssandos on the piano in the 1st half of the song when that’s not what
he is playing. The 2nd half looks pretty accurate.

Thanks Jung,
I feel safe but the air is very bad.
Sometimes we can’t see the sun.
My health club moved all the weights outside on account of the virus and now they frequently
close down on account of air quality.
My favorite watering hole here in Davis only has one bartender on account of the virus
and she has asthma.
It sounds like you miss the golden state.
I had friends in Surrey but they moved to Kamloops.
Stay well
