That’s cool Daryl. I have a little vinyl left, mostly 45s. I just had to comment on the Samantha Fish album. Great young blues player from Kansas City. I like watching her YouTube videos.

One of my favorite new drummers is Abigail Christea. She is the drummer for all sibling hard rock band Liliac from LA. She may not be the best technically but she sure beats the hell out of her kit. She’s always having a great time in the back of the band. Also, Liliac like MLT is a family outfit managed by their father who is a recording engineer and fine musician himself. Oldest child Mathew on Guitar, Abby on drums, middle child Melody on vocals and bass, Ethan on guitar and little Justin on keyboard. They are like a heavy rock Partridge family only they can actually play their instruments.https://youtu.be/apc5Q9NtsJE

As far as the Twins I can only say Lisa is my favorite performer on the planet because Mona is out of this world !!! There I said it.

  • There is a podcast I just found on YouTube called Behind The Song where the host Janda Lane goes over the lyrics of popular songs to explain the lyrics. One of the first ones I watched was the song Barracuda by Heart. I thought it was written about a devious acquaintance or lover when in reality it was written about the heartless people in the music industry and in particular their first record company. Very interesting stuff. https://youtu.be/KnHtLKHEo-A is the link to this episode and you may find some other interesting looks at some of our favorite songs.

Hi David, That’s interesting. I wonder why the lack of views in October and November? Any theories? I only found their videos and music in October 2022 and watched them almost constantly in November and December and have been watching them a lot ever since. Even though I have all of their music on CDs I only listen to them in my car. I usually listen to YouTube playlists at home almost constantly. I play either playlists on the Twins channel or the MLT playlist I made that currently has 84 songs. I’m sure it wasn’t me that was slacking. Lol. Anyway, thanks for posting all of these stats. I’m kind of a stats nerd too so I know the amount of time and work it takes.

Jurgen, I was smiling through that whole video. Neal passed away in 2020 from brain cancer. He is truly missed.

One thing I liked about Neil is he never thought he was the best or even “good enough”. He was always learning new techniques.

Hi Jurgen, This kit belongs to Neil Peart of Canadian rock band Rush. One of my favorite drummers and brilliant songwriter. Sorry I couldn’t get my comment to load on this post yesterday. I hoped someone would figure it out. Peace my MLT friend.

I wonder if there was any farmers in the next county that thought a storm was moving in?

I’m sorry to hear of your terrible loss Jeannette but I do hope this music will help to ease your sorrow. I know it helps me feel good.

4 pictures from Sparta WI. first is the Tunnel #1 entrance on the Sparta-Elroy bicycle trail. Second is the Krindlmart which in the summer houses the Farmers Market and during the holidays becomes the Christmas village known as Kriskindlmart. The 3rd and 4th picture are a small chapel and ocean liner built in the 1930s by German immigrants Paul and Matilda Wegner. (Hmm). They are made of cement and stained glass chards. Known locally as the Glass Church it can seat 7 people.
