Thank you Jung! My studio has just been through some upgrades and renovations, I’m very happy with it. Given that I spend 8 to 10 hours a day in the room (7 days a week, lately), it was about time. 🙂

What a great bundle, my studio has MLT stuff everywhere now, I love it! And I love the sweatshirt/hoodie/jumper, it’s very soft, fits me perfectly and it is getting non stop use!
Everything MLT does, it’s done with care, attention to detail and lots of LOVE.
Thank you!

I agree Bill. This song is truly a gem. It’s one of those songs that seems to come together magically. It jumped out at me the first time I heard it, and my jaw dropped. Of course, the Twins make something look simple and easy, but it’s really a complex song to do. Very much like The Beatles. They’ve also said that they knocked this one out pretty fast in he studio. More proof (should anyone still need it) that MTL are world class musicians all around.

By “Bananas on the Bongos” I mean the ‘Cajon’, probably. BTW, “cajon” is the Spanish word for box (also drawer).

I’m looking forward to the video of this one too, as it sounds like Mona’s going bananas on the bongos.
Speaking of Pete’s signature windmill strum, while he was doing it on stage in the late 80’s he impaled his hand on the whammy bar. Ouch.

Well, I’m hearing Mona taking lead vocals and acoustic rhythm, then… bongos! (or some percussion?), which I’m guessing it’s Lisa as it alternates between bongos and lead electric guitar. I wonder which guitar she chose for this song. Looking forward to this video. The Beatles lead seems to be played on a Casino, that may be George, or even Paul.

I can’t wait to see the video of this one. If my ears ain’t lying to me, Mona takes lead vocals and anchors the song with that skillful rhythm acoustic while Lisa’s playing bongos AND lead guitar?? Quite the circus trick…

With those deserts, I’ll coming to dinner Jung! ?

I would love to see/hear a live version of Club 27. Raw , a la Cream.
“Slow Hand” Lisa on lead, “Ginger” Mona on Drums, and Papa “Jack” Rudi on bass?
That would be one heck of a show…
