My favorite merch is the CDs. I’m a little behind on some of their stuff but I’ll catch up soon enough!

Here’s another vote for seeing Mona playing those skins! I used to LOVE (still do) watching Karen Carpenter play back in the day. Man she was an awesome drummer.

I always had top of the line Pioneer stereos, cranking up some of those rock bands to learn the drums to a lot of the songs. Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, early Kiss, Iron Maiden, Priest, etc. Most of us guys had long hair back then, at least until disco came along and ruined everything. I refused to get my hair cut, I never followed the fads and trends and still don’t. Although mother nature and age finally made my hair short! LOL!
I haven’t played drums in many, many years now, instead I’ve been playing guitar which I started learning back in my drumming days. I’m so-so at it. I am no where near as good as “our” Twins.

Mona I’m SO glad you use the Ludwigs for recording! I know the newer electronic kits sound pretty good but nothing beats REAL drums! My first real kit was from Pearl. I was a Zildjian cymbal guy myself as well. I tried a Simmons electric kit when they first came out, man did they STINK. They killed your wrists too.

I’ll be 61 very shortly and this generation of kids today is far different than mine. But I guess the generation before mine said the same thing. Finding MLT late last June was a breath of fresh air to me! Why I didn’t discover them earlier I have no idea but I am so glad I did. It’s so great seeing these 2 girls being really into the music I grew up with!

Well one way is checking into the club here to see what’s happening. Another is checking Instagram for any new MLT goodness (which reminds me, it’s almost time to order some more goodies!). I keep an eye on Twitter for MLT as well, I don’t do Facebook though. Loving that new live Cavern club video too!

I had a problem a few days ago loggng in. No message but after hitting the login button the spinning thing just spun and nothing happened. Emailed them and it got fixed later in the day. Hiccups happen from time to time.

Jackie it’s funny you mentioned the ukulele. Because of Lisa I bought a concert sized uke and recently got a baritone uke. 2 different tunings of coarse. Seeing Lisa play her uke really tickled me and I said “Oh I’ve got to get me one of those!” So I did. They’re really fun to play. There’s a video clip of Lisa playing this carnival song riff with I assume Mona accompanying her off camera on guitar. I love the clip. It cracks me up and she’s so good playing it.

I’m jealous too! Wishing I lived in Liverpool…..

LOL! Man how I hated the 80’s! For just about everything. The music, various hair/clothing styles. ICK!
But I’m a child of the 60’s so I can be forgiven for it! Give me 60’s and early to mid 70’s music every time.

Mine is my 2006 Fender Telecaster. I was originally a drummer years ago but I also wanted to learn rhythm guitar so I self taught myself the major open chords and had a friend that played guitar teach me barre chords. I’m O.K. at playing but not great by any means. Mona and Lisa blow me away! But it’s a LOT of fun to me. Need to practice those 7th chords, etc. though. Man that B7 is not easy to switch to! John, Paul and George seemed to really love those 7th chords!
I just ordered a Fender CD-60SCE acoustic. I have an old 1970’s Sigma but it stinks to high heaven. I never play it because the action is really high. I could sand down the saddle and may try it one day but it was time for a good acoustic even though I mainly play my Tele.

Yeah My Sharona was over played to death. While not a huge fan of them my favorite of theirs is “Good girls don’t”, far more fun to play musically.

Looks good Jung but the color of mine is “Midnight wine”. Which is kind of a dark maroon color.
