Timely question Michael as I was thinking of getting a new acoustic. I have a REALLY old 70’s Martin Sigma DM4 I bought back in the early 80’s but the action is REALLY high. My main guitar is a 2006 Fender Telecaster. LOVE that guitar. I think I’ll check out that EJ 160E!

Jacki I know the feeling, I lost my mom 19 years ago and my younger sister 8 years ago. Both from cancer. But for me I’ve had several medical problems since last June (around the time I discovered them on Youtube) and the Twins have really helped me get through them with their music and videos. They were the best medicine for my head. Ear candy that’s SO sweet! I can’t thank them enough really for what they do.

The combination of their excellent singing and musicianship abilities and the sound of those guitars. The fact that they both play various instruments is a huge plus also, so talented! Their ability to write their own songs as well. Their cover songs are FANTASTIC and stay pretty true to the originals which for me is a big plus, I do like their arrangements of them as well.

Mainly here at the computer at home but also in my car’s CD player although I don’t drive as much as I did in the good old days (too many clowns on the road today). I just got my first “Smart” phone (a Samsung) so I suppose I’ll figure out how to load some MLT on that now as well. Better get a big SD card for it come to think of it!

Off the top of my head:
“And your bird can sing”.
“Windy” (The Association)
“Sunshine of your love” (Cream)
“Summer in the City” (Lovin’ spoonful)
“Turn, Turn, Turn” (The Byrds)

Jota,
Had the surgery last Thursday (5 days earlier than planned), I’m told it went well. BUT, they fill your abdomen area with Carbon Dioxide in order to work in there. That gas is supposed to be worked back out before closing you up, I had a lot still in me and it was VERY PAINFUL for about 2 days. Today (Monday) I am a bit sore but doing better. Can’t really do much physically yet but as usual Mona and Lisa’s music and videos are helping me through it all! They came out with that “If I fell” behind the scenes video which was a nice surprise for me to find after the surgery!
Anyways, back to recovering….

Jota, what a great friend to do that for you! I’m currently going through gallbladder issues (surgery set for 2/19 unless I can get in sooner). Always dream! I’d love to see MLT in person, it would be so much fun and they’re such lovely girls as well of coarse. And their music DOES indeed help me through a few health issues since last July. Hang in there!

Ernie Ball regular slinky (green pack) on my Tele. I change them about once a month. Or sooner if they start sounding dull.

On man this is tough, O.K. I’ll play:
1 – When we’re together
2 – June
3 – That’s life
4 – It’s Alright
5 – Drive my car
6 – Day Tripper
7 – Please Please Me
8 – I’ll follow the Sun
9 – You’re going to lose that girl
10 – Bus Stop

On July 28th 2018 I stumbled upon their cover of “You’re gonna to lose that girl” on Youtube and it was love at first viewing/listening! I was instantly hooked. I only wish I discovered them much earlier. Better late than never!

Fantastic! I use to sub to XM years ago but the price started getting too high for my liking.

Happy Birthday indeed! 50! I remember 50. I’ll turn 61 this May. Have a great day!

Unless you’re “Keef” Richards and take off that low E string.

Ooo, that’s a GREAT question! I’ll bet she could and will eventually. Every time I see someone on Youtube play it well I’m blown away. LOVE that song! Seems to be a hard one but then again I’m just a mediocre bedroom guitar player.
