It was at the start of 3 years of health problems that seemed to never end but these 2 girls and Rudi and Michaela really helped get me through some tough times. I couldn’t thank them enough but I’ll try.
I’m so glad I found them.

I can’t believe the season is over already. I did get a nice bunch of carrots and about 6 quarts of pole beans (Kentucky wonder). Bad year for cucumbers, zucchini and kale for me for some reason. Next year I’m switching to ‘Blue Lake” pole beans, the Kentucky wonder was really stringy. They say I may have not picked them young enough.
Cosmos did well as did portulaca. Time to start planning for next year!

I live near Hyde Park but it’s here in N.Y.! Home of president FDR. We also have a Liverpool in N.Y. state! Not quite the same though.

I always love hearing and seeing Mona on her drums! I miss the old days back when I played mine. Can’t wait to hear more new stuff from you ladies!

Living next to you 2 would be a dream! I would love it. When I was young we had many musicians in my village. So many garage bands! The early to mid 70’s were real good times! Then disco came along and ruined it….

Karen Carpenter was one of my first crushes as a young kid. What a voice and when I saw she played drums too I was hooked on her for life! SO very talented! Greatest female vocalist of all time IMHO.

I’ve been a big astronomy fan since I was a little kid. Mona you have to learn to see the Orion constellation. It’s pretty easy to spot and is prominent in winter. There’s a famous nebula under the first belt star on the left that’s visible in binoculars and spectacular in even a small telescope. I recommend the book “Turn left at Orion” if you’re new to astronomy.

Very cool John! Thanks for the tour! I don’t think I’ll ever get to go there although I’d love to. When were the photos taken? Wonder if they cleaned up Mathew street yet?

It got to 96 F. here today at my house, it’s supposed to be hotter tomorrow they say.
I’ll take it, I was sick of the freezing weather!

Thanks Jung! Some years are better than others in the garden, you just have to keep at it. I think one big issue is a lower bee population. Not as much pollination is happening.

I know what you mean about neighbors! But back in my drumming days (VERY long ago now) my next door neighbors used to like hearing me play. And they were both old folks! We played mostly 70’s rock and hard rock so it was LOUD! I remember one summer we decided to set up outside on the back patio and shortly after we started the cops came a calling! We had to stop.

Or they can just use the F barre chord.

I’ll probably never get to go over there but I can live through all the other fans instead. No covid problems here, all vaxxed up and doing well so far except for a few big health issues the past 3 years. All good at the moment though. Thanks for replying!
