  4. This Summer playlist is awesome! What a groovy start to my Saturday, thank you Mona for compiling this little gem. Some great new songs I haven’t heard before, and I really like the extended or live versions of some classics like Summer Breeze, Schools Out etc… Not only great compilation but great version picks. We had mid 30’s all week where I am, but yesterday and today it’s overcast and cooled a lot, feeling cold, been wearing my MLT hoodie since last night! This playlist is breathing life back into my summer. ????????????????????

  5. These Friday videos are great. Congrats to the winners. We love how you leave it up to fate, or the ???? to select the winners.

And thank you loads ladies and fam for making us all feel so loved and appreciated! The awesome “I’m Groovy” buttons were a gracious, thoughtful gesture, but you need never fear any of us clubbers could feel that you ever take us for granted. Bless you all, Wagners and clubbers included! Oh, and BTW, really diggin’ the ‘just brush it out and go’ au naturel hair look!

  7. Congrats to the winners.
Summer is still a few months away for me but I’m listening to the play list as I type this and I’m getting excited!!!! Love summer.

  8. Congrats to the winners. Am enjoying the playlist. Very eclectic. But I hope summer ends here in Oklahoma; we’ve had two months of sub 100F. Can’t wait for the album to come out. Peace be.

  9. What a great prize to be able to have a video call with Mona & Lisa!!! Congratulations to the winners! Thank you for putting together the MLT summer playlist, that is so cool. I really like Pascals’ idea of a paid concert on the web. Might be something to look into. I would definitely pay for that! And a DVD or upload option. MLT rocks!

  10. congratulations to the lucky winners , and thank you for the Ultimate MLT Club soundtrack ,excited to listen to that this weekend, Getting closer to hearing a brand new MLT album. that’s very exciting! Thank you so much.

  11. Ok, Congratulations to the winners! You are the envy of a very, very large group of people whose only consolation prize is now being able to uncross their fingers and toes. But, the real prize which everyone will be able to share very soon is the actual release of the new original album! Awesome news!!! And,thank you Mona for putting together the MLT Club Summertime Playlist. It has so many of my all-time favorite songs all in one place. But, then again, what else would one expect from such a groovy group of MLT Club members?! Thank you!

  12. Almost lost in the excitement of the drawing and the playlist is the fact that the new album is just a few days away from being sent out for production. That is excellent news! I can’t wait to reserve a copy or three. I won’t jinx anything by saying congratulations early, so I’ll just wish team MLT an easy few days getting it wrapped up and sent on its way.

  13. Being a huge Beatle fan love the Rain video you can tell by the way Ringo is having fun that it is one of his fav songs to play

  14. Hello Ladies,
Congratulations to the winners, and thank you Mona for the shout out. ❤️
What an interesting and Phenomenal Playlist you all put together. Mona, a shout out to you for compiling the list. 92 songs! Well 91, as Simon And Garfunkel won’t play here due to copyrights. But I have the concert on DVD!
I have actually listened to each song today. What a Huge Huge Treat!
I’ll find a way to keep the Playlist, and sing along (like I think I can sing)????????????
Ladies I can hardly contain myself till the new Album comes out. Have you come up with a title yet? (Yes or no)
Your content just keeps getting better and better.
Thanks Ladies and have a fabulous weekend
All the best to each of you
    Rick

  15. Thank you for including “Show Me” and “Steppin’ Out” on the playlist. I’m now back at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto watching batting practice.

    Off to the ballpark!

  16. Congratulations to Diana and and to John. Have a great visit!

Team Wagner is moving forward. The new album is going to be a masterpiece!

  17. Greetings,
Congrats to the two winners. It is a grand prize to look forward to.
Thank you Lisa and Mona for the Playlist. I just finished listening to all of it.
So many good songs and some really great classics.
I jotted down some notes on some of the songs as I listened, but I think I better not try to write it all here cause it will be quite long and it might be too much to read. (This is long enough anyway, huh? lol).

But just a couple of things, if I may haha:
Did any of you notice the beautiful Julie Newmar (actress, dancer & singer) in the Monkees’ Video? She played Catwoman on the Batman TV Series.

I love Jeff Lynne and ELO. No offense to anyone but that song One Summer Dream was quite boring. If you want to hear ELO at their best listen to – “Don’t Bring Me Down”, “Evil Woman”, “Livin’ Thing”, & “Telephone Line”.

I could not listen to S&G’s Feelin’ Groovy. A message said that ” the Uploader has not made the video available in your country” (what’s up with that lol?) That’s okay I have heard/seen it before.
If you haven’t heard Harpers Bizarre version of “The 59th St Bridge Song (feelin’ Groovy”) I suggest you check it out. I like it much better.
Also, I do not mean to sound like I am bragging, but I have driven across the 59th Street Bridge hundreds & hundreds of times. It connects the boroughs of Manhattan & Queens in New York. S&G are both from Queens, NY

OK I better shut up now. I feel a little bad cause most of the comments I read here so far were quite short today. Sorry I just can’t stop talking about music.

I hope you all have a fun and safe weekend. Take good care.
    Adios por ahora,
    Bobby S.

    1. I can’t believe you listened to it all already! Wow. It will be several hours before I finish. I have to disagree about the ELO – I mean, yes, you could call it “boring,” but it fits the subject…a summer dream. I don’t know who put it on there, but it was a new one for me and I like everything Jeff Lynn touched, I think. I also like the Harpers Bizarre version, but I’m not sure it’s “better” for me, just a different take. The real question Robert, is do you feel groovy when you drive across the bridge? LOL. Your mention of that made me imagine all of us taking a group picture with M&L on the bridge and calling it “Staying Groovy” ROFL. Maybe everyone could post a photo and I could do a photoshop rendition?

      1. Oh YES, I felt extremely groovy crossing the bridge. I would cross it from time to time, but then when was about 17, I was dating a girl in Queens (I lived in Manhattan) and I visited there almost every day for two years. .
The bridge is okay, nothing really special. It has two levels – an upper & a lower level. For some reason I would take the lower level going to Queens & the upper coming back home.
I have not gone into Manhattan or Queens hardly ever in recent years. But if I ever do go there I will try to take some photos to share. Although, thinking about it you can probably see some pics of the bridge online.lol Just google it or something like that.

      2. Wow, having to cross one of those bridges would’ve been a relationship killer for me. Aren’t the tolls like $13 each way? I’ve mostly crossed the Verrazzano going up there a few times a year. I hope as a local you got a break on the toll!

      3. Hey David, Actually the Bridge is FREE. Some of the Bridges that connect some of the boroughs are free. The Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge, the Williamsburg Bridge & Queensboro Bridge are all free. Some of the others like the Verrazano & RFK Triborough Bridges will cost you. Yes the prices have skyrocketed.

      4. Well that’s a relief! I guess I haven’t driven any but the Verrazano. Though I may have crossed the Brooklyn bridge once. Back in the days of printing MapQuest driving instructions, I was trying to get from Boston to DC and somehow wound up in the parking lot of the Brooklyn Zoo! I don’t know how I made it home that trip!

      5. I had a couple of afterthoughts concerning the Bridge –
One day, late at night in the wintertime, I got on the upper level of the Bridge and I couldn’t control my car. There weren’t any cars in sight so I put it in park and got out and felt the ground. It was a very thick sheet of ice. You might say I was “Slip Slidin’ Away” (a Paul Simon song haha).
Also just for the record (I don’t mean a music record), the official name of the bridge is the Queensboro Bridge. And a few years back they added the name of a former Mayor of NYC & renamed it the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge.
        Thanks for listening (I hope)

  18. Congratulations to the winners!! So happy for you and what a cool way of finally seeing and talking to Mona and Lisa! I know if I won? I would of fallen over with joy! Please winners get back with us club members and let us know how it went!! I am with Mona and Lisa I don’t want summer to end, Maddie started back to school this past Tuesday and so hard to believe summer is coming to an end. She is in 4th grade this year, wow and will be 10 years old come February. So looking forward to the new album and can’t wait to put my order in so I can be the first kid on my block to have the new album.

  19. These are the days that are almost as depressing as they are fun. I’m always happy to see M&L, and I’m very happy for the winners, of course, but then…lol.
This is such a great playlist. Although, some of them I can’t for the life of me figure out what they have to do with summer. I suspect some were just favorite songs. And as always, many of them won’t play in the U.S. Some of them I’d all but forgotten about as I hadn’t heard them in decades. Thanks so much for compiling this, ladies. I know it had to have taken quite a bit of time.

    1. Yes Roger I agree. Many of the songs had nothing to do with Summer. I guess it was just some favorite songs of some people. Maybe they remember listening to them in the summertime? or not? Oh well.

  20. I think you should better making a paid concert on the web !
(choose the price between 1€ OR 100000€)

    • you will get more money than with Youtube
    • your fans are all over the world, so they could see you in concert
    1. A paid live concert would be great. And then release a dvd and download so folks can relive it. I wonder if they could get up onto the old Apple Corps rooftop. Since Mona will be playing guitar, recruit Ringo to fill in on drums. ????

But seriously I think a live streamed paid concert would be awesome.

    1. Congratulations on the win! I’m kind of relieved I didn’t hear my name. I think if I were on a Skype call with the twins I’d be stammering like Lisa in “One More Time”! It’s best that this honor go to someone who can keep their composure.

  21. A big congratulations to the two very lucky winners. It was a most coveted and wonderful giveaway. Wont mention names so as not to spoil the surprise. Thanks Mona and Lisa for doing this. Hope you both get to relax and unwind after all the work on the album, and enjoy the remaining final days of summer.

  22. Congrats to the Winners, may you enjoy the one on one face to face chat video visit soon coming your way , i know it will be a blast for all…. 23. Congrats to the winners. There are some great songs in that list and a few I have never heard before! Also love that some MLT originals are in there too – just as it should be! As I type this the rain has started so summer is hiding for a few days but some happy tunes will make the rain go away.

  24. Congrats to the winners!
Thanks for the smiles you bring with every post. So looking forward to the new album and the next post.
    All the best, always. 🙂

  25. Rats! I really wanted to win this! Congratulations to the lucky winners. Hopefully Mona & Lisa will do this again. I still win because it is Friday and another video on here. Looking forward to the new album release. Peace and love…
