  1. Still playing catch-up after having a very snow-filled and action-packed weekend here in North East England (so thank you once again for posting the video of your livestream).

This was a really lovely session. Among the comments you read out I noted someone in the care sector who would be working over the festive season. Big shout out to all those like medics, critical services and, of course, musicians, who often work over the Christmas holidays.

  2. I re-watched this tonight, thanks everyone who tried to tell me to refresh my page. I wasn’t getting the video on YouTube, only the chat so I couldn’t hear Lisa’s instructions. I switched to the club feed and could see and hear Mona and Lisa but couldn’t read the chat so couldn’t see everyone responding. I eventually refreshed the YouTube feed and all was good. Thanks again everyone. Just so everyone knows you can watch the Club feed while re-freshening your YouTube page.

  3. On Christmas morning when I will take my breakfast, I will listen to your Christmas CD so I will be in the mood and I will sing with your songs.

  4. Sorry I missed it, but I met some new family members here in Germany today and needless to say it was a late night! Catching up this morning. Have a great day!

  5. Something I noticed again today: We have become a family of sorts here at MLT. People from many different places and so many different backgrounds with one main thing in common – we love the Twins. They bring us together as a group, and it ends up being special. We may not always agree, but I can’t ever remember being in such a large, diverse group like this that was such a respectful, positive force. Thanks to all the Wagners for creating MLT and staying with it, thanks to all of the active MLT people out there for being part of this, and of course, thanks to Mona and Lisa who’s amazing voices brought us together.

    1. Hi Johnnypee,

I showed a few of his videos to my younger students, & he is silly, but it helps students to see & say the words. There’s a lot of rhyming “goodbyes” in that video!

Here’s a cat one that I like also. But I’m not trying to push her videos. I don’t subscribe to her channel. I just show a variety of song & dance videos to students so they can learn some fun songs! (Gotta get ready to go & teach tomorrow!)

      1. David,

Yeah, the Muppets & Sesame St. produced a lot of great shows for kids. They’re even entertaining for adults! (I wouldn’t consider shooting a cat out of a cannon though!)

Well, I’m off to teach soon, all day! — Bud

  6. QUESTION: You mentioned your studio is in your house. If you work where you live how do you maintain a work/life balance?

  7. I joined a bit late and am getting ready to watch the little bit of what I missed. Love the format, spontaneity, your laughs and smiles and like many others said it’s like we are hanging out together with each other!

    1. You know Jung? It sure does. In addition to Mona and Lisa, it is so cool to see all the regulars in the chat…it is like an All Star Team of MonaLisa Twins fans!

    1. The Brittish postal system seems to have been fixed. Last year it took two weeks for my package to get through the Brittish side, this year it only took 2 days.

  8. As always, such a pleasure to visit with the girls and all the Club Members!

I know how precious your time is Mona and Lisa, but my request is a song that I think you could really do wonderfully with your playing and vocal harmonies. While not exactly a Christmas song, it is in that realm of sorts. I do it myself in a four verse form, a couple less verses than Leonard himself recorded, more like Jeff Buckley’s version. But my skills are far less than most, especially yours. It’s written by a Canadian musician and poet/writer/composer, Leonard Cohen. The song is Hallelujah. There are several versions out there including his own. It has been covered by Jeff Buckley, Lucy Thomas, and others as well as a-capella by Pentatonix.
I find myself struggling to understand the meaning of life right now and this song uplifts me, and yet it also leaves me wondering where the fairness is in it all. My brother and his wife have lived through two very tough years in losing their eldest daughter to leukemia last August. But now he is hit once more with his wife of 48 years stricken with sudden terminal brain cancer. she only has a matter of 2-3 months since her surgery less than two weeks ago.
I know you don’t normally do requests, and I totally understand why with busy schedules and a hectic lifestyle. But if at all possible given time restraints, and if you are doing some songs on one of the streams I would be beyond grateful.

    1. I am so sorry to hear that there is so much family tragedy for you right now, Daryl. Wishing you comfort this Christmas. Hallelujah is a great song and I can certainly hear Mona and Lisa singing it.

    2. Daryl…wishing you Deepest Sympathies and hoping that you and your brother can stay strong throughout all this and that your sister-in-law can remain painless and positive.

Pentatonix did an outstanding version of Hallelujah. My wife wanted to see them a few years ago…didn’t know what to expect…they were outstanding.

      1. Thank you Christopher. The sad part is the damage was done before surgery and she doesn’t have much mental capacity or understanding anymore. It all happened so fast. My brother is very stoic and keeps too much inside but I know he’s torn up terribly inside.
I had never heard the Pentatonix version until a couple years ago, very stirring with just some simple percussion and beautiful voices. But I think my favorite is Lucy Thomas though. Her voice is so pure and strong it will move me to tears even without the current emotional stress.

    3. It’s such a beautiful song and can find itself at home inside a broken heart. I pray you find strength and grace during this difficult time.

  9. Missed the live stream today but will watch the video. Sending off a Christmas card tomorrow to team MLT. It’s a crappy rainy day here in N.Y. At least there’s no snow here yet.

  10. I’m anxiously waiting to see Lisa and Mona and their smiling faces.
It’s a very dark. dreary, rainy day here in NY, with 50 F degree temps.
But the Twins will brighten up the day, as they always do. Woo-Hoo!
    See you soon,
    Bobby S.

      1. Packers had a great game last night beating Kansas City. I’m starting to get excited about the Jordan Love Packers.

      2. Yeah I watched the 4th quarter, It was very entertaining. I always like seeing the underdogs win ,

  11. Just watching NFL football until the LIvestream starts. My Packers don’t play until tonight so it works out perfectly.

      1. Are you a Jets fan Bobby? I thought they would have a good year with Rodgers but man they just can’t get a break.

      2. Hi Tim,
I like the Jets and the Giants and the 49ers. I won’t bore you with details. Yes, I was hoping that Rodgers would be good for them, not like Brett Farve when he spent a season with them.
        Take care,
        Bobby S.

      3. I liked Favre’s playing style but Rodgers is a lot smarter. I hope he has a year or two left but he was banged up his last couple years here too. Age gets to us all eventually. Always next year.

  12. I’d love to but I am going to a banquet today. It is for a fraternal benefit organization and we go every year to it. Honestly I’d rather be at the livestream but we were already committed.
I will check out the rebroadcast later when I get home. Hopefully this is the only livestream I’ll miss.

  13. Looking forward to today’s broadcast, I’ll try not to miss out this time! I don’t have any questions really, but one small musical request might surface…:>}

  14. Hiya…. 7:25 AM , freshly awoken, be heading off to church in awhile and actually after church will be rehearsing singing in the music group there some Xmas songs for the Xmas Eve service… ( going to a new church since the one I had went to that I had a family history connection with had to close it’s doors , and I have missed singing in the church music group, although for time being this church’s music setup is different but in a good way, it’s on a rotation kinda basis, so you get a variety each month, guitarists, a few singers with piano/viola, or just viola/piano, but there is hope for more regular monthly singing at least once in future )… Will be tuning in to see ya at 4 PM, my voice all tuned up to sing along ….lol while I watch you…. C’ mon 4 PM, hurryup and come already ….lol.., Also major big snowstorm brewing to come into my area so it’s really going to make the Livestream’s Xmas Festive Spirit , come to life , literally ….. 🎄🌨⛄❄☃️🇨🇦🍁
