Day 4 – Listening Party For Our New Album!

Today is Monday!

Which means it’s time for our first ever Live Listening Party. And we thought, what better album to start off with than our new release, The MLT Club Duo Sessions II.

The way this is going to work is that at 9pm GMT (same time as our previous two Livestreams) the video above will turn into a Livestream. Instead of seeing our faces in front of the camera, today we will stream our new album from start to finish.

If you’re watching on YouTube (click the orange link below) you will be able to join the live chat again so you can comment on the music in real time, perhaps discuss your favourite songs and have a nice chat with other members.

Or, of course, you can simply treat the stream as a “radio station” and just have it on in the background while you go about your day. 🙂

The album is 44 minutes long so the stream will roughly last until 9.45pm.

Again, here are your time zone conversions for the streaming time:

London – 9 pm (GMT)
Los Angeles – 1 pm
Phoenix – 2pm
Chicago – 3pm
New York – 4 pm
Berlin – 10 pm
Moscow – 12 midnight
Sydney – 8 am

We hope your Monday rocks!

  1. “I Should Have Known Better” than to NOT say that I would “Teach the Children” today! Grades K thru 5. After having them sing some songs along with me & my guitar, I did show a few classes one or two MLT videos! (And I just now finished listening to your last song, “Junk.” Too bad all junk isn’t this good!)

  2. I knew I’d miss this today, & every weekday because I just got a Music teaching job for at least 2 weeks. So I’m home & listening now, and missing the Chat, but that’s life! At least I can read the comments! I LOVE this recording! So many wonderful performances by our gals! All I can say to Mona & Lisa is this; you’re on a roll! Keep up the great work, you two are truly gifted! (Of course, hard work comes in there somewhere, right?)

    THANK YOU! — Bud

(I mailed your X-mas package today, so I’m hoping it gets to you before Christmas!)

  3. Missed it as well. Will catch up in the morning while working in my basement office. I could listen to MLT or Beethoven, Bach, Liszt or Joni, King Crimson or John Mayall. Think I’ll listen to the ladies!

  4. I enjoyed Duo Sessions II while working in my woodshop today. Such a wonderfully engaging album. Each tune is so unique and the mix is genius. I so love your version of “Teach Your Children” with Papa Rudi. I never would have dreamed any cover of this very special song could be done as well or even better than the original.

  5. Sorry, life got in the way today, missed it. Hope all who attended had a great time. Will be here for the next one. Will listen in to the broadcast late now anyway, separated by time but here in spirit. Those snow flakes look nice with the tender beautiful MLT music.

  6. As I always have said…Duo Sessions are my favorite. It gives us the opportunity to watch, listen, and appreciate MLTs pure musicianship. Whenever Mona and Lisa decide to play live again (and “when” is entirely their call), this format would be perfect!

  7. Greetings,
Not sure how many folks will be listening and/or chatting, but I’ll be there.
So let’s give it a go.
    Cheers,
    Bobby S.

  8. A suggestion for the musical Livestream on 23rd December – I am sure you will pick some wonderful songs from your back catalogue but how about doing a pared-back Duo Session style version of the new Beatles’ song Now and Then? I think it would work really well!

  9. Alas, I’ll be working during the Livestream. I’ll have the audio going but may not get to participate much.

  10. I have errands to run and Doctor appointment. Hopefully I will get home in time to join the chat. I have Duo Sessions II in my car so I will be listening no matter what.
