Day 21 – We Want To Call You (Giveaway) …

During the Livestreams this past month you’ve seen us and our faces a lot. We only “see” you in written form when reading the chat! But we’d like to meet some of you “face to face” too, so today we’ll do a little Giveaway with the price being a Video Call Session with the two of us! We’ve done this for Giveaways in the past and absolutely loved it!

So, if you’d like to chat with us one on one for a little bit, you can enter the Giveaway Draw by leaving a comment below telling us …

What is your biggest wish this Christmas?

This could be something physical, like a present wish, or something more abstract, whatever comes to mind. Every comment enters the hat (or should we say, owl) and we will draw three winners – not tomorrow, but on our big music Livestream on Saturday!

See you all again tomorrow โ™ฅ

  1. For peace and joy, and for more people to experience the happiness one feels when seeing y’all and hearing your wonderful music. Merry Christmas!

  2. Outside of all the obvious such as world peace, stamp out cancer, stamp out hunger, I have 2 wishes. One is to find a cure for COPD which I have suffered with for 5 years and would wish this disease on no one. The other would be to allow me to spend at least one more time with all my kids, grandkids and great grandkids at the same place and time while I am still breathing.

  3. I believe I have already received my biggest wish. On October 8, my wife, Margaret had a heart attack. Never had any heart problems. Out of the blue. We did not even realize it was a heart attack until we got to the emergency room and they said she is having a heart attack right now! We were both shocked. Found out that the main artery to her heart was totally blocked. So she was in surgery about 5 or 10 minutes after we got there. A longer story shorter, Margaret is doing well, she just went back to work December 17 and is continuing cardiac rehab.

The doctor told her that she had tombstones (instead of peaks, rounded ones that look like tombstones), and that when they see that the patient normally does not survive! Her heart function was only 28%, normal is 55 to 70. On December 18, she had another echo cardiogram and it had improved to 40, which the doctor said was really good.

So I am really thankful that Margaret is still here. And unfortunately I have not paid much attention to the Christmas live streams this year. I watched the one last night and will try to watch it tonight, but sadly has not been my priority.

So as I said, my wish has already been fulfilled! Thank you for sharing your talent with the club. I know it is really appreciated.

    Tom

  4. Such a big question! When I think about it, I have soooo many things to be grateful for in my life. I guess, one of my wishes would be for them to stay the same.

  5. My biggest wish is to be able to enjoy another wonderful Christmas with my wife, children, grandchildren and extended family. A wish that always comes true for me this time of year. I wish the same for all MLTClub as well. Peace, love and good cheer to all.

  6. My biggest wish for Christmas is basically the same as most of the people here, Peace on earth and the chance to video chat with Mona and Lisa.

  7. A bit late here, but my wish would be that we all can have good health in 2024 and be able to live in peace and try and accept each other and enjoy whatever time we have together. And also, that we all at some point in the MLT Club can meet each other. I would love to chat with Jung, Jacki, Roger, Tim just to name a few.

  8. Wasn’t going to be political but two glasses of wine later…..My Christmas wish would be for the world renowned scientists, virologists, oncologists & cardiologists who were silenced, smeared & cancelled over Covid & Climate change to finally be heard by the general public.
Failing that a new Mercedes would be nice ๐Ÿ˜‰

  9. Peace in Gaza and Ukraine are top of my list – along with the overthrow of the oppressive regimes in Myanmar, Belarus, Iran and Afghanistan (for starters)!

  10. What a Christmas /new year present that would be to have a live video call with the twins money couldn’t buy !!!!

  11. Well, of course all I could think of in reading the post, was to have a videocall with the Wagners!
I’m also echoing what the other members are saying and adding that I hope that Janitor Joe went to get help.

  12. A friend and I have a running joke that, given the degree of chaos that seems to pervade the planet these days, something equivalent to Divine Intervention wouldn’t be a bad idea. While I have no idea what that would look like, my friend Dave, is leaning toward some kind of Space Brothers appearance, in order to administer a little realignment. I asked him if there could be Space Sisters, as well. (You can see where this is going). Absolutely! he replied.

So, my Christmas wish is that Mona and Lisa “come out” so to speak and declare their true mission. This is, of course, bigger than the Cavern Club, but something has to give, before this crazy granite planet comes apart. For those doubting the possibility of this theory, it might be useful to reacquaint with a couple of MLT videos, particularly Walking In The Air, and WHY? And there are allegedly other clues buried in the MLT catalogue for those who would like to dig deeper still.

Ironically, should my ticket be chosen, we’ll have to employ some kind of alternate technology, as this steam driven computer of mine doesn’t have a camera.

    1. Len,

I think we’re ALL the chosen ones to make some positive changes; spacemen, women or whoever. It would be nice to have divine intervention, but with Great Spirit’s help, we can ALL make it happen! In other words, WE are the change we’ve looking for!

(And I hope your computer doesn’t “run out of steam!”) Thanks for your Positive Thoughts!

      1. That’s the one David. You must be a pop song historian. Another one that comes to mind is The Temptations’ Ball Of Confusion, that’s what the world is today. Still as relevant as ever.

      2. I wouldn’t call myself an historian, Len, but I know most of the hit songs from that period, and Town Without Pity is uniquely fascinating!

  13. I of course, along with everyone else would love to have a personal chat with Mona & Lisa! We’re all deserving, but our names will be drawn out of a hat, so we have no control over that anyway! So I will be happy for WHOEVER wins, because I’m sure that one day, some of us WILL get to meet them both in person! That’s my wish anyway!

PEACE and HAPPINESS ON EARTH TO ALL!!!!

  14. Hi Everyone!

I’ve read all your comments, & many of you have wished for the same things I would ALSO wish for, so we’re definitely on the same wavelength! My feelings are that hopes & prayers are definitely helpful, however what we really need to make positive World Changes, are to form many grassroots citizens organizations to push back against all the Evils on Earth that we’re suffering from.

They’re all caused by the greed of a very few people. The problem is that most of us WANT positive change, but those in power, DON’T want change. Here are some things that need changing:

1.) Get money & big corporations OUT of politics.
2.) No one is above the law.
3.) No more war for profit.
4.) We need the TRUTH, not more lies from corporate media.
5.) Common sense gun laws are essential!
6.) Corporations MUST pay their fair share of Taxes.
7.) No one should be allowed to live & die on the street!
8.) Everyone deserves a good education, & a good job that pays well!
9.) As a Society we need to TAKE CARE OF people who are disabled, sick or have
    mental health issues.
10.) Ban billionaires! They pay politicians to make laws that FAVOR the rich!
11.) Phase in Clean Energy ASAP! We can’t wait any longer! No More Excuses & Lies!
12.) Treat all People, Animals & Nature with RESPECT.
13.) We must become good STEWARDS for our Mother Earth. There is NO PLANET
    “B!”
14.) LEARN the TRUTH about our collective History in order to STOP REPEATING OUR
    MISTAKES!
15.) Peacefully fight against Racism & Inequality through Education!
16.) With the Cooperation of ALL Countries, the Best & Brightest Minds should get
together to find COMMON SOLUTIONS to the problems that ALL people face.
NO ONE GROUP is more important than any other!
17.) We cannot continue to allow Dictators & Crazies to run us into the ground!
18.) Positive changes must come Peacefully, Fairly & Quickly for Everyone!

    That’s my 2 cents worth!

      1. Eric,

Thanks to you also, & you’re welcome! We do have a great group of caring, intelligent people here in the MLT’s Club!

  15. I wish I could be more global and universal – of course a peaceful world where no one is hungry and everyone treats each other the way they want to be treated. But honestly I love Mona and Lisa so much(and also of course Michaela and Rudi), that my wish would be that they receive all the happiness and joy they give me, the MLT club members, and the world – through their music and goodness – a hundred times over

  16. I’m a bit torn between wishing for good health, or world peace, But you did say to pick the biggest one…

I’m thinking big, so world peace, like others have said. For that to happen, a lot of other good things would need to happen, so that’s a plus.

And I’ll wish that peace to all of you – Mona, Lisa, Papa Rudi, Michaela, all Club members and their loved ones, and everyone else on this little rock in the heavens.

  17. That is very cool to offer yet another piece of your time. On broad level, I wish we’d all just be kinder and get along. That’d solve a lot of problems. On a more personal level, between now and next year I wish my wife and I would find a more fulfilling way to spend Christmas. It’s just us (only children, parents have passed, no kids of our own) and it feels a little melancholy and lonely. Sorry, didn’t mean to be a Christmas buzz kill.

  18. I actually received my Christmas wish this year and recently had a chance to visit with my family in Germany. I used to travel there often on business, but those days are over. It had been over 8 years since my last visit, and several family member passed away during that time. I met new cousins on this trip and connected with relatives of my step-grandmother (who passed away 10 years ago), but was unable to meet them because of the huge snowstorm in Munich and further south. I still need to pay my respects and visit her grave, and have vowed that I would visit the rest of the family more often, so it’s time to start saving those airline miles! Of all the places I have traveled, Bavaria will always hold a special place in my heart and I count my blessings that I was able to make this latest journey.

  19. It would be great if the world could interact like the people in this group, I have never seen any negativity to someone’s posted opinion, race, or religion. MANY people in this world could learn a lot from this group! Second, I wish the Wagner family a very Merry Christmas, and a creative and healthy New Year!!!

  20. Well, other than sincerely wishing that all the nations on earth would stop fighting and learn to respect each other, my personal wish would be that my son and daughter and her family could come spend Christmas together at “Grandpa’s house”. It’s not going to happen this year but I’m hoping it will one Christmas in the near future.

My next most wonderful wish would be to win this drawing for a video call from the two of you! That would truly be a dream come true!

  21. Hello Ladies,
What a thoughtful gift and one I’m sure all the winners will immensely enjoy.
I think for Christmas I would like to see joy on the faces close to all of us. Just being excited to get together and enjoying each others company. You never know how much it means to someone to see someone they love.
    Best
    Rick Ross

  22. If I could have any wish I wanted, I would wish for a peaceful, more wealth balanced world, and a world of people with a lot more respect for different points of view. I of course realize that a lot of people would have to pull their heads out of the sand, raise their heads, then look around, and ask “Why does it have to be that way”, but perhaps one day people around the world will do just that … it’s ok to dream.

  23. My biggest Christmas wish is that my 6 yo daughter Sofia skis with me this February at my place in the French Alps. Sadly, Sofia does not live with me. But tickets from Moscow and the UK have been purchased, and so, after a week at ski school I hope my daughter will be able to come up the mountain with me ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey, Mona and Lisa, if I’m lucky enough to win I’ll show you a video of Sofia aged 3 singing a Christmas song we wrote together. It is the cutest thing ever ๐Ÿ™‚

P.S. I’ll be staying at Waterloo with my step-brother this New Year. I love returning to Liverpool ๐Ÿ™‚

  24. Wow! A video call with Mona & Lisa would be great! Peace on Earth would be a wish that I’m sure everyone would love to see. On a more personal note, my wife was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago, so my biggest wish this year would be for her to be healthy!!! Merry Christmas to everyone in the MLT Club!

    1. I’m sorry your wife is ill. That is a heavy load to carry. My wish for you both, then, is that her medical team is on their “A” game, that there is a treatment for her, and that the treatment isn’t too difficult for her to bear.

    2. Hi Jim,

My wish for you and your wife is that she recovers of course! Many people do! Explore all the treatment possibilities, including eating healthy, & any natural remedies & exercise that is possible. Positive thinking & action can work wonders, & also thoroughly go over which treatments are best with her doctor. And there’s nothing wrong with getting second opinions from another doctor, or doctors. I’m sure you know all of this, but also know that there are people who really care & will offer help!

Sending my Best Wishes and Prayers for a full recovery!

  25. If a wind of intelligence and common sense could carry away all the worries of this uncertain world!
More selfishly, health for my loved ones and above all an effective method for learning English in order to understand MLT livestream.

  26. Apart from health, peace in the world and all the best things for others, it would be to meet them in person and be able to tell them how much I admire them

  27. Now, more than ever, I wish for true peace on earth. In Ukraine and Gaza, in the societies that are experiencing extreme politics fuelled by anti-migration/LGBTQ/racist/misogonistic etc etc rhetoric and actions. A farer world where the rich share their wealth more fairly with poor which would address so many of the worlds ills. Finally, that we put the earth and the environment first and realise that without mother earth, water and air we are not going to be here for much longer.

  28. My biggest wish would be getting to spend a day with you both showing me all your favorite places and things and meeting the whole family. But more immediately it would be finding a job ASAP. I won’t be able to stay in the MLT Club if I’m homeless.

    1. Hi Roger. I hope your situation improves quickly. I decided not to enter this contest in order to improve your chances. You need some good luck! Let’s hope it starts with winning the video visit with the Twins and then finding a good job in the New Year. Best of luck to you.

    2. You would be missed if you weren’t here in the club Roger – the active members have become like a family. Good luck on the job search and keep us posted.

    3. HI Roger,

I’m wishing you all the best in finding a good, new job! What type of work are you looking for? And stay positive, I’m sure something will come your way!

HEY EVERYONE: I don’t have the resources to do this alone, but maybe a BUNCH OF US could pitch in and donate to cover Roger’s MLT DUES! What do you think?

      — Bud

      1. That’s very amazing of you. You’re going to make me cry. I’m not quite there yet, but if it comes to that point, I’ll let you know. It would help if the state would quit screwing around and pay me the unemployment they owe me.

  29. Our biggest Christmas wish this year is that our loved ones that can come home do in fact make it home for Christmas hugs and dinner. Oh, and maybe a video chat with some kool chicks?

    Merry Christmas,

    Marlo & JP

  30. My biggest wish would be good health and happiness to all I know or love in the upcoming year.

2nd biggest wish is to win this giveaway!!!

  31. My biggest Christmas wish this year is to successfully travel to my cousins house for Christmas Day Lunch with lots of other family members. She lives in a hilly rural area (although not actually that far in distance) but the weather can be tricky and never what the weathermen say. Two years ago, it was cancelled at the last minute due to Covid and last year I started off and got quite a distance until the road was blocked by police cars saying I could not get any further! There was snow all around but there had been a bad accident. So fingers crossed I will be third time lucky this year!

  32. My biggest wish this Christmas would be to have the honour of a video chat with you both, nothing could top that! ๐Ÿฅฐ My other wish would be to have a heart felt get together with my 2 sisters this Christmas weekend. While we live in the same city, we just don’t get together enough with our own busy lives. I know that’s what would make my mom and dad the happiest, to see us all together.

  33. To win a video call from Mona and Lisa would be better than any material present. It does mean I would have to get a haircut and a clean shirt and think of something intelligent to say. My biggest wish would be that everyone have someone to spend Christmas with, no one should spend Christmas alone.

  34. My biggest christmas wish is that people are not able to hurt another being, neither human nor animal. Sounds simple, and i truly believe that one day mankind will see that the only option for all of us is to love one another.

    1. Now a few days later( just before the livestream) i realise there is another wish for me , and i think for many of us clubmembers: i would love to meeat the wagner family somewhere in or around Liverpool. It would be so nice to organise a memberweekend for those who would wish to see and speak to the Wagners ( and listen to their art of music making) In the weekend we could stroll through Liverpool and see all the famous sites the sixties musician visited followed by a bbq and some music from the best musicians off today the Mona Lisa Twins. I know its a dream that will never come true, but he, what are dreams for!!

  35. That would be beyond pretty much anything I could personally wish for.
Obviously all of us want to live out our lives without threat or worry of the things that turn the world upside down. I often ponder the words in John Lennon’s “Imagine” and I think it is possible if people could just learn to put away petty grievances and greed. But people are what they are too. Some are just prone to doing nasty things.
Some of you know my family plight right now, and I honestly do hope for a kind and happy result for a very painful process for a family loved one. But that is up to a higher power and we can only accept what will be come the passage of time.
So for all of you here, and especially our beloved Wagner Family that give us much joy in their music, and share their personal lives with us to a degree I wish for you all happy times, many blessings, and a warm and humble heart. Live, laugh, and most of all, love with all you can be.
“May you be an hour in Heaven before the Devil knows you’re dead”

    1. Daryl, I am aware of what your family is going through. I think most of us have been through similar situations but that doesn’t make it any easier for you. It’s something everyone has to get through on their own terms. I wish you the best and hope you have a peaceful Christmas. Good music always helped me a little.

      1. Thanks Tim. So far she’s fairly stable. Some mental gaps understandably. But we keep hoping and praying.

    2. Hi Daryl,

Whatever your problem I hope that all of our good wishes help towards a solution for your family loved one! Best of luck to you!

  36. Wow, what a great giveaway idea.
I wish for my 4 grandkids aged 3,3,5 & 6, grow up in a peaceful world, and for them to be kind and healthy, particularly my 3 yr old grandson Henry who has spent a lot of time in hospital this year with breathing difficulties.
For myself, I wish and hope that I don’t have as many running injuries as this year ( ha ha), and I really wish that I get to see MLTs perform live before I get too old!!

  37. Where do I start. But I’ll be succinct.

Ultimately, I want everyone to be treated equally with regard to fairness, respect, recognition, appreciation and suchlike.

Naturally, cessation of all world conflicts.

    Peace and being groovy.

  38. My biggest wish this Christmas is to do a video call with Mona and Lisa. And I put that on the list that I sent to Santa. So yeah, I’ve gamed the system here.

Seriously, though, my most fervent hope is for all the people of the world to become critical thinkers who draw conclusions based on the preponderance of the evidence, rather than blindly trusting any claims of authority.

  39. Well, obviously, world peace. Especially with the suffering in Ukraine and probably many other places that we don’t hear as much about.
On a more personal level, good health for Mom and the rest of my family at least thru Christmas. Mom and I spent Thanksgiving at home because she had a minor infection in one lung and a persistent cough. Now she came down with bad cold symptoms and I pray she and the rest of us are well enough to gather Christmas Day so we don’t miss a second holiday family gathering. Maybe a tad selfish, but I really want it more for her than anyone else.

    1. Of course, we’ll definitely have a great gathering on Saturday with our designated second family, namely the Wagners and all of club MLT!

  40. Good Thursday Morning, awow, now that ‘s a wonderful Give-Away Offering , and I know past winners that won that opportunity , immensely enjoyed the experience as did both of you, am very very happy, this offering is once again being offered as an awesome bonus of the Advent Calendar.

For me, I don’t have any real specific wishes but what I do wish for is to have A Lovely and Fun Xmas Day spent with my family, Peace in our Troubled Conflicting World , For Positivity To Be Embraced and Shared With All , Laughter in Abundance, Smiles and Hugs A-Plenty , Harmony Eminating From our RAINBOWSPIRITSOULHEART To/For All … ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ•Š๐ŸŽ„โ˜ฎ๐Ÿค˜๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒŽ๐ŸŒ

    1. Jacki, I really hope you’re one of the winners of the video call. You’ve been an MLT booster since most of us were in diapers (metaphorically speaking), and this would be a well-earned lifetime achievement award for you!

  41. My Christmas wish came true last Saturdayโ€ฆ I have three sons from age 37, 35 and 26. The two younger ones are stepsons. But I pretty much raised them. Due to a divorce 15 years ago and one of them living in another state. The last time, the three of them and I were in the same room was 10 or 11 years ago. Last Saturday, a friend of mine had a Christmas party and my company was one of the sponsors. I invited my three sons, their wives, of course, and my nine grandchildren! They all were there and we had a fantastic time. Thatโ€™s been my wish for many years. ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿค™

    1. That is very cool. I always think of step-parents as “bonus parents”. They’re a bonus because they don’t take away from the biological parents and only add to the child’s life. God Bless you for “stepping” up!
