  1. Hello Mona and Lisa and club members. Sadly, I was not available to join you when this was live. I sing in the choir at our church, and I am in the tenor section and there are 4 of us and 3 of my tenors was sick and could not come for our service which was the same time of the live stream so I was the only tenor for our choir but believe me I was heartbroken me and Maddie could not join you all. But we just watched now, and tears are running down my cheek. You ladies are so wonderful and love to hear your lovely voices blend together. I can see a Duo Sessions III coming or maybe another Christmas Album? So, thank you so much for your love and talent. Hope everyone had a beautiful Christmas and look forward to sharing time in 2024.
Hugs and Love from Bill and Maddie Isenberg Huge Fans from Pittsburgh PA US

  2. I missed the livestream and didn’t listen/watch the replay until early morning hours of the night after Christmas. Worst ever. Had some high spots, but I haven’t enjoyed Christmas this year…too many old memories and not enough new ones. Work became increasingly stressful as the shift went on (11am – 11pm) until I clocked out late. My sister called while I was at work to tell me our mother had fallen and broken her hip. she texted later to say they’d already operated to stabilize it, but the stress went up. Freezing fog driving home, so more stress. I finally put this replay on and cried to All I Want Christmas to Be. 🙁 Probably because the Christmas I have is not the one I want.

Sorry for this long post, but it feels ok because we’re all family. Mona und Lisa, thank you for your music. Happy or sad, it gets me through. And helps me find my groovy.

  3. I really like how Mona & Lisa switch from singing the Lead or Harmony parts, even within the same song! And both ladies sound equally great whether singing a low, or high harmony or the lead! I’m sure this makes it more fun for them too!

And in watching their Duo pieces, I like to see how they put their two guitar (or Uke) parts together. And for playing live, there are very few mistakes, which is difficult for anyone!

Cheers for Lisa & Mona, (Mona & Lisa!)

  4. This was a wonderful livestream! Superb musicianship as always. It was great to hear from Michaela and Rudi. Michaela’s wishes were the very essence of the Christmas message. Years ago, I became a retro-active fan of Doris Hrda and she sang Es wird Scho Glei Dumpa on her first Christmas album … your delicate dulcimer-like guitar work and beautiful vocals on this lullaby were exquisite.

  6. Most enjoyable…wasn’t able to make the livestream yesterday but was able to watch it this morning. Thank you for a great Advent!

  7. This was a great Twins advent season. We finally got to meet Michaela and Rudi up and close — that was special. And eight songs in the finale — that’s a mini concert! I loved “Hazy Shade of Winter”, “Edelweiss” and “Es Wird Scho Glei Dumpa”. “Es Wird Scho Glei Dumpa” brought tears to my eyes. Your harmony on those songs was amazing. Mona’s low harmony voice has found a new quality this year.

What a great year 2023 was – I’m looking forward to seeing what you have planned for us in 2024.

Frohe Weihnachten und ein gutes neues Jahr an Mona, Lisa, Michaela und Rudy!

  8. Dear Mona and Dear Lisa
I just watched the last Live Stream – while preparing for Christmas Eve.
I’m totally in the mood now – dancing around.
Have seen all Calendar shifted – Love it.
Thank you very much – World Class🤩🤩

Sending Christmas / New Year greetings later…

  9. Mona and Lisa once again delivered another wonderful Christmas live stream with a fabulous selection of music and of course much love, joy and generosity all on display in generous portions including two special guests so we can all be one big happy family. Can’t wait to continue my MLT Club journey in 2024. Love and happiness to all MLT Clubbers around the world! Mona and Lisa you are the best!

  10. I was on and off the live stream. I finally finished the whole thing later this evening. Always a great time. It was nice to see the four of you. I received my Christmas card Friday. It was very special to watch you open mine. It is interesting how your songs played in the live stream sounded so similar to the recordings. The one thing I miss in your song “ All I want Christmas to be” when I watch the video one of you girls is crashing while you’re skiing and you giggle while laying in the snow! When I listen to the CD, I always wait for that and I don’t ever hear it… same with your performance on the live stream! It’s just a happy little giggle!🤓 I hope you four have a great new year. I will certainly be a part of next year.!🤓🤙

    1. Hi Tim,

I just have to ask you; were you ever a teacher in the Seattle School District? I worked in the same middle school with a Tim Hilton. I’m guessing that you’re not the same person, but I thought I’d ask anyway! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

      — Bud Jackson

      1. Hi Bud! No, that would not be me… I grew up in South Dakota and then moved to Colorado! You also have a merry Christmas 🤓

      2. Thanks for replying Tim! And the same to you!

Another question: it’s sounds like you’re living in Hawaii right now. If that’s true, is it the Big Island? — Bud

      3. Hi Bud… I am building a cabin on the big island, but I don’t plan to live there just a place to get away from the cold! I love the Colorado summers. I’m just getting sick of being cold! 🤓

      4. Tim,

You an’ me both brotha!’ Seattle winters aren’t so cold as many other places in the US, but I’m sick of the cold! Hawaii has a very comfortable climate, & very even temperatures all year ’round! I was born in Honolulu & didn’t live there long, but every time I go back it’s such a contrast with the clean air, fresh ocean breezes & warm temperatures. When it rains, its warm, & only lasts for 10 min or so, & then it’s back to sunshine!

I do love the mountains in Wash. state, & like to hike, but not so much in the winter. Hawaii’s expensive, but there are ways around that. The big island is less expensive too.

Good luck on building your getaway destination, that’s a great idea!

Take care, and HAPPY NEW YEAR! — Bud

      5. Hey Bud, it looks like you and I joined the MLT club the same month of last year! Very cool!! These ladies… or maybe I should say the whole family kind of gets under your skin very quickly! When I watch their videos on YouTube, I read the comments under them… and of course, a lot of them probably more of them are not within the club! And it gets me all choked up…” those are my girls” I’m very proud of what they’ve done! And I think they’re just getting started! You also have a Happy New Year! We’ll just make it a great one!🤓

      6. Tim,

Yes, I agree! I came across the MLT’s one day about 3 or so years ago, give or take. I was teaching on Zoom, and looked up “I’m Only Sleeping,” by the Beatles to find out the key. I came across an Amy Slattery video and saw her singing and playing all the parts. I thought she was pretty good for an 18-year-old! After I watched a few of hers, she had one where she sat in w/Mona & Lisa at the Cavern.

I thought — “The Mona Lisa Twins!?” What is this? But after watching a few of their videos, I started watching more, & in a short time got hooked!
I’m a big Beatles fan, so I appreciated how they do the Fab Four stuff so well, but unlike any Beatle Imitation bands. The girls really make the songs their own!

I like groups that cover the Beatles, but I don’t feel that anyone can better what the Beatles did. But I love the interesting twist that Mona & Lisa give their songs! I don’t feel it’s necessary to compare them. I just appreciate the differences! And I like M & L’s style!

Later, I was amazed at how many different groups that the MLT’s covered so well, PLUS writing their own songs! Also, Mona, Lisa & Rudi put out the most consistently INTERESTING and FUN to watch videos!

I didn’t join 3 years ago because I was so busy teaching, but I’m glad I finally joined. There’s so much to love there! And beauty is only skin deep, but Lisa & Mona have so much to offer their fans!

Thanks for the email Tim! — Bud

  11. I literally just made it into my door at home, moments before Luvestream had begun…told folks while I’d been on bus homeward I’d soon be to watch at home on Home WiFi and not to use up all my Phone Data I have on my phone watching Live, so folks already there waiting, I quickly let them know I’d be arriving home soon to watch, and I literally did , just that, just moments after I came through my door at home, turned on my Home WiFi , Livestream began, at a tad after 4 pm ….I made it …Whew, almost had asthma fast walking home from bus station to my place to make it …..lol….
I’d been out trying to finally finish up my last minute Xmas Shopping …

It was such a Lovely Epuc #MLTLuvBuzzGroovified Fobale of this year’s Advent Calendar and for me, Best One To Date ….
Now Team MLT can deservedly take a breather , unwind and Rejuvenate….okay it’s just after 2:10 AM for me, was doing up my fudge and sugar-shortbread infused cookue baking Batch as my immediate family , we are having our Xmas Gathering Xmas Eve. 1. Jacki I’m not sure if that is a typo or you spelled it Luvestream on purpose but it seems to be the perfect word to describe it. It was a Lovestream, Lol. Merry Christmas.

      1. Lol…. I didn’t even think of that….it was a typo ( with my eye issues ) but now that you politely pointed it out, I rather address it as such…. ” LUVstream” it now officially been declared as by me, but credit coin-phrased by you, Tim ☮️🤘🏻🫶👱‍♀️👩‍🦰

      2. You are the poet Jacki. I love reading your posts. Giving credit to me would be like giving credit to the boy that cut the horse hair to make Van Gogh’s brushes. You remind me a little of my sister Nita. She was a poet and songwriter. She has many poems on a website called poetrypoem.com under the name the pilgrim. If you ever want to check it out here is the web address. http//:poetrypoem.com/thepilgrim

    2. I hope you have an especially nice Christmas Jacki! I’m glad you made the Livestream (Love stream) just in time! — Bud

  12. Just finished watching ladies. A great couple of hours. You gals are so beautiful, talented……and real. And cool seeing the folks.

Terrific song selection. I was one of the hundreds calling for “I Don’t Want To Spoil the Party”. My dream album somewhere down the road – “Modern Sounds in C&W Music” by the Mona Lisa Twins. We got two selections already- this one (the electric Gretsch for the solo, Lisa) and “Baby’s In Black”. I’d include in “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, but probably don’t want to include a Christmas tune!

Luvved the concluding tune, not necessary to know the lyrics, just enjoying the angelic voices enough.

Since I first discovered a little more than a year ago (Mona belting out “You Can’t Do That”), your music has been a part of my life. Happy being a small part of allowing you two to continue to pursue your dream.

Happy Holidays! Looking forward to all things MLT in ’24!

  13. Tonight’s live stream gave me a little hope
We had upwards of 140 people watching the stream, and many in chat.
People from all around the world it seemed.
There was a channel full of love.
One person mentioned they might have to drop out of the club as they had no job and might not be able to afford it.
Several people offered to pay for them if they needed it.
No one asked what race / sex / political party they were, they wanted to help out a friend (yes, you can be friends with people you’ll never meet)
THIS is “how I want Christmas to be”
Funny, how most peoples wish they had for Christmas, was alive in that chat room.
    Maybe we can do it..
    I hope so
(stepping down from my soap box)

  14. Had to drop out just as you were starting the final 2 songs. Just finished watching now. I can’t really put into words how much I have enjoyed these Livestreams. Your perfomances this evening were all great and having Michaela and Rudi join in was the the icing on cake! Loved your cover of “A Hazy Shade of Winter” and was blown away by your accoustic version of “I Bought Myself a Politician”. Thanks to the entire Wagner family for what you do and how much it means to all of us. Much love and hugs and have a great Christmas celebration tomorrow evening and a Happy and Healthy entry into the New Year!!!

  15. Thank you all so much for tuning in! What a great way to end this Advent Calendar ❤️
The last song we played tonight was called „Es wird scho glei dumpa“, for those that asked.
    Sleep well and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

    1. Every song today was a treat and that was a perfect song to end with! May all 4 of you have a wonderful, relaxing Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together!

    2. Lisa, I know you said you were night owls, but even energetic souls like you and Mona need your rest. I realize that it’s well into the wee hours. But in the event you are still prowling about (or if you see this later on) Thank you again for such a wonderful time today and every livestream. I wasn’t kidding when I said I was emotional today, I did literally cry with joy. I wish I could have played the stream for my stricken sister-in-law, she would have enjoyed those beautiful songs very much. I will find a way to at least play her your Christmas song somehow.

    3. Can’t wait to see what the New Year brings to the MLT Club. A very heartfelt thanks for the Wagner Family being such a joyous part of our lives!!

    4. What an amazing Grand Finale. The whole month has been so very special. I hope you all have a nice relaxing break, you definitely deserve it, Thank you and Merry Christmas.

    5. Wow Lisa, you and Mona create absolute beauty with your music. It all just blew me away today! Edelweiss never sounded so good, angelic. I really enjoyed Hazy Shade of Winter, the guitar work and your vocals were absolutely superb. It just gripped me. Thank you so much!

    6. Thank you and Mona for a super advent calendar this year. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and wonderful New Year

    7. That was truly sublime. Thank you. I love it so much when you play a nylon string guitar together with a steel string.

    8. Wonderful finale to a really enjoyable month of getting to share the holiday season with you. Getting to ‘meet’ your parents was an added bonus, and it seems that they were at ease and comfortable with being ‘in the room’ with all of us at the other end of the MLT club. I know that I personally, felt as though I was in a room with family and friends.

      1. Thanks Jean,

for sending us all the info on that beautiful Austrian song, plus the videos!

        Merry Christmas! — Bud J.

    9. Thank you, Lisa, Mona Michaela & Rudi,

You really gave us all a fantastic final performance for your Advent Calendar! Enjoy your time off and get rested up. I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us next year!

You are doing such a great service for your Club Members, who live, eat & breathe Music!

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to you also! — Bud Jackson

  16. I jumped on just as the stream was ending (cookie making duties kept me away). I immediately jumped back to the start. “Hazy Shady of Winter” has been on my MLT cover bucket list for years and I had goosebumps watching it on the stream. Nicley done as always.

    Merry Christmas to Team MLT!

  17. Enjoyed watching the livestream and all of you appearing, Disappointed it lasted less than two hours, but that is the way it goes. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you.

  18. Ladies, i’m not in to merch much, but i would love to have another
orange writing pen, i have used up the one i have.
Someday we will meet when you visit Freight-and-Salvage opening for
(and harmonizing for) John Sebastian. Cheers.

  19. Unfortunately it was not possible to watch all live streams live. But I enjoyed all the recorded streams. I can’t wait for my calendar and giveaway. Everybody Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

    See you all later!

  20. Hey y’all! Merry Christmas from the Magic Capital of the World! Love the MLT Club, all of your music, and today, especially your Christmas songs! Keep up the awesome fun music and stay groovy. Great livestreams; such a terrific gift. Thank you, Mona, Lisa, Rudi, and Michaela! – Kurt and Carol at the Grand Magic Theater

  21. One P.M. is a very difficult time to slow down here but Saturday is ok
and the music livestream is special.

  22. I’M HERE!! After working all day the last 3 weeks as a Music sub in school, I finally have 16 days off! YAHOO!! I had to watch the MLT Livestreams during dinner. But I got hugs all day long from the little kids!

It’s sunny & 49 F. here near Seattle, & I just went for a walk. How about that!

How’s the weather a bit farther North, JUNG?

OK, LET ‘ER ROLL MONA & LISA!

  23. Greetings,
Do You Believe in Magic? The magic of the MonaLisa Twins,
What a Day For a Daydream. Just dreaming how great the Christmas Livestream is going to be.
You Didn’t Have To Be So Nice. The Twins and Michaela & Rudi are so nice to us.
Thank You All So Very Much for a Groovy Year 2023.
    Looking Forward to 2024.
    Beat Wishes & Love,
    Bobby S.

  24. I finally got to see the Hotel California video. I love the audio on the EP but never seen the video before. It is hauntingly beautiful considering they were so young. Incredible talent they have. I watched it 3 times and shared it on Facebook too.

  25. PICK ME ME ME!!! PICK ME!!! 😁

Counting the minutes, looking soooo forward to todays Christmas party livestream. 😎

      1. Thanks Jeffery. All the best of luck to you and all the members. We’re all equally deserving for being here on their incredible journey. Mona and Lisa are so kind and thoughtful to do this for the MLT community.

    1. JUNG,

I feel the same way!! I wish that Mona & Lisa could do a video chat with everyone, but then they wouldn’t have time to practice and make more new great videos! As it is, they do an incredible job on everything!

      CHEERS MATE! — Bud

  26. Today is the long-awaited night for all of us at the club.
I’m very excited waiting for the broadcast to start.
Here in Fresnillo it is drizzling and a little cold

    1. Hi Refugio,
The livestream will warm you right up, and you will forget the cold.
Wonderful Christmas wishes to you and your family.

  27. Me and Maddie missed last night’s stream, but we will be here tonight for sure. Miss you all and love you all, see you later….

    1. We opened your thoughful presents during yesterday’s stream, thank you so much to both of you! ♥️
      See you soon!

  28. Aaaaargh! My wife wants to take a mini-vacation today/tomorrow, so I’m gonna miss the livestream. But for everyone else… enjoy the show, buffalo!

    1. Aaaah thats a pitty David, you”ll miss out on the highlight of the year, on the other hand, it should be ever so nice to take a mini vacation the two of you together , i hope it is a fantastic mini holiday !!

      1. Thank you, Eric. We’ll be in Asheville, North Carolina, in case anyone wants to meet up with us after the show.

    2. Hi Dave. Sometimes life just gets in the way, but have a wonderful time on your mini-vacation. We’ll miss you.

    1. I knew it would be good but is has been much more than I imagined. Great way to spend the days leading up to Christmas.

  29. It’s unbelievable how quickly this Advent Season has sped by! Truly the most joyous one to date, and I offer my warmest gratitude to Team MLT and the entire MLT club community! We all know and appreciate how this must have been a ton of extra work for all the Wagners, but you never even hinted so! Christmas Blessings to you all!

    1. Well said Jeffery, I couldn’t agree more. I will miss this all tremendously.
Best Christmas wishes to you and your mother.

      1. I love WC Fields… and I think it was in “My Little Chickadee” that he kisses the hand of Mae West and says something like… “Ahhh yes, my dear… the symmetry of your tender digits… I wonder if I might partake of a second helping…”, one of his many great lines. Another favorite of mine was when asked in an interview if he would ever get married, his response, controversial today, was something to the effect that, “Women are like elephants… nice to look at… but I wouldn’t want to own one.”

      2. I just looked up WC F. on wiki. He lived almost 67 years, from Jan. 1880 until Christmas day, 1946. I saw a few of his movies on TV when I was a kid, but he passed before I was born. That was sure a different age back then!
